Has both Amazon and prime as built in apps so that is terrific. it's missing NBC sports ESPN and all of that however you can use screen mirroring order to see them. the problem with that is that you can't use your phone while you're watching TV then

Awesome TV! Its UHD so it's true 4K! Haven't had any problems with it. But like a lot of TVs, an external sound system like a decent sound bar is recommended!

    Very, Very POOR Viewing Angle

This LG, Model # 43UK6300, is the second one I have purchased very recently. The first I had to return to the store because the overall picture was Way To Dark even when viewing straight on. The manager of the TV Dept suggested I change it out for the same one as he said it may be a problem with the IPS Panel. My Review Below is based on this 2nd LG Model # 43UK6300 I now have in my home. PLEASE UNDERSTAND ... You Will Need to be viewing this TV directly straight on for a Clear, Crisp, and Bright Picture with Very Good Color. One Step to the side and you will notice, to some degree, the picture is not quite as good. Two Steps to the side the picture is not very good at all and is even starting to darken somewhat. Three Steps to the side and forget about viewing whatsoever ..... Very Darkened Picture and the clarity leaves a lot to be desired ..... You will not want to mount this TV high close to the room ceiling either as the aforesaid problem will be noticeable as well. (Mounting should be done at eye level to ensure the best viewing and picture quality with good color) ..... I bought this TV for my bedroom and most of my viewing is straight on giving me the picture I described in my opening sentence of my review for this LG TV now in my home. I do have 4 TV's in my home (1 Samsung, 2 Vizo's, and now this LG). The one Samsung and two Vizo's have great pictures and wonderful wide viewing angles providing a clear picture and great color even when seated near the side of the TV screens. The Front Panel on this LG TV I have noticed is loose and even rattles somewhat when I have dusted it with my Micro-Fiber dusting brush. This LG has built in Bluetooth which enables me to take my speaker about and listen to the audio when out of the room. This feature is something I like and am pleased to have. I don't think I could recommend this Particular "LG Model # 43UK6300 TV" to a friend for the Viewing Angle Problems I have stated. I have had this TV (LG Model # 43UK6300) for 11 days now in my home and I have not made my mind up whether to go back to Best Buy again and just exchange it for another Make TV ........ This Is The Only TV I have ever purchased that I have not been completely enthralled with from the moment I first turned it on.

I hate to know you've encountered such issues regarding television model 43UK6300. I do understand how this can be aggravating with the picture quality not being as clear when not directly facing it and the panel being loose which causes it to rattle a bit. I do appreciate the review needed to alert us about this dilemma. Good picture, horrible operating system -- buy TCL

This is a good TV hobbled by the clunky WebOS operating system that is difficult and not at all intuitive to navigate. The remote is a cluttered nightmare. This thing was designed by engineers for engineers, not the everyday person. I have a TCL TV that has the Roku operating system and simple remote that is much, much, easier to use.

TV is five years old. I'm not sure how long its supposed to last, but the screen is turning purple. The people on screen look like caricatures from Willy Wonka.

The LG Thinq AI is complete garbage

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I purchased two LG smart Thinq AI TV's (one 43", one 75"), and have had nothing but trouble with both of them. They won't follow commands, they require you to login in over and over. And their tech support is horrible. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them yesterday trying to get it to work, and have currently been on hold with them for 40 minutes. To give you an idea of their level of knowledge - after being with tech support for over 20 minutes they actually asked me what Google Home was - asked if it was similar to Alexa. Seriously! I will never buy another LG product - absolutely unacceptable!

    Will never purchase LG again

    Posted .

Purchased this TV 6 months ago and one day the picture of the TV quit working. I contacted LG about the issues since it was an LG malfunction and still under warranty. I got an initial service appointment set up, which is nearly impossible due to LG horrible customer service. The TV repair man came out and determined the issue was the LED paneling in the back of the TV and the overall cost of the repair/labor was not worth the cost of the TV itself. Throughout the rest of the process I talked to over 25 different LG customer service reps/escalation managers about getting this fixed and still nothing happened. LG kept handing me off to other reps who would promise solutions but nothing would happen and the cycle would start all over again. To make it worse every conversation with the customer service team you are on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes so by the time you finish talking with someone you've been on the phone for an hour. The fact LG does not respect their warranty policies and fix something that was an LG MALFUNCTION within their product has lost my families business forever. LG has caused a ridiculous amount of stress and frustration just so they can save a couple hundred dollars. Truly disgusted with LG and will never purchase an LG product again. Strongly encourage everyone to due the same.

    Volume is a mess

I really liked this TV for the first couple of days. Now all of the sudden the volume will die during a commercial, when it comes back, the screen and the talking are off. I would not recommend this TV to anyone, if I hadn't thrown the box out, I would have returned the TV, I am so disappointed.

Hi Kimmer, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Have you tried power cycling the television? You do this by unplugging the unit, then hold the power button on the unit for 60 seconds. Then plug it back in. After this, check for firmware updates. Also, double check your connections to ensure they are secure. If this does not work, please reach out to us via phone at 1-800-243-0000 or online on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/LGUSSupport or Twitter @LGUSSupport so I can assist you further. ^EJ LG

    A waste of money

The tv does not stop auto-correcting brightness even when you turn the setting off. The HDMI ports stopped working correctly less than 2 weeks after purchasing the TV. In order to get the HDMI ports to work I have to switch between the 3 ports until it starts picking up the signal. I have bought new HDMI cords and the problem persists. I bought the 2 year Best Buy warranty as well, and they refuse to help me.

Starting to have regrets over this purchase. Started having wifi connectivity issues then it worked fine for a while and just started having issues again. Purchased this TV in May (6 months ago). It is only this Tv of all households appliances that alerts it could not access connection point and after doing research on this issue I know I am not the only one. Be aware.

    Terrible picture, excellent OS.

I want to love this TV but I can't. Great viewing angle, much better OS than Samsung and others, and I love the remote, but the IPS panel picture and brightness is terrible. Blacks are just dark greys. Only get this if you require a wide viewing angle.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TV - WIFI does not work

Do your self a favor and do not buy this TV. I started having issues with the tv a couple of months after I purchased it and then the pandemic hit so I couldn't get anyone to the house to look at it. I've upgraded my modem, and wiring in my house and now it completely does not work and made the mistake of now purchasing warranty for this product. On top if that I purchased TWO, and the Wifi does not work on that one as well. Needless to say this is product wasn't made to last and they know it.

Another fake 4K UHD? What gives?

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Was about to pull the trigger on this for use as a computer monitor, but then discovered this is not a true 4K "color" screen design. In reality it is a hybrid design of a color and monochrome (yes.. black & white) screen. Half of the pixels are true RGB color rendering alternating with monochrome (white) pixels. I suppose as most people aren't going to notice 1080 upscaled content, this shameless marketing sin will go unnoticed. However the nonuniform pixel pitch causes text to appear jagged and essentially dooms this for computer monitor use.
