buyer’s remorse. REMOTE issues

Remote stops working after 2-3 weeks of inactivity. Since I normally use my cable remote, inactivity means I can not make software updates because remote no longer works. LG customer service says this will continue to happen and they will not provide new remotes after warranty ends. There are no buttons on the monitor so you won’t be able to use tv at all if you don’t have cable, etc. when remote breaks. I was not happy that LG did not maintain my serial no in their records.

Disappointed

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tv a day ago after bringing back another lower priced LG 43” tv from Best Buy that had issues with the screen freezing. I only had that tv for several days as well. The salesman convinced me to buy this tv as it was supposedly more reliable (as well as more expensive). I set this tv up and have had more issues especially with my cable box. I have repeatedly reset back to factory settings and reloaded everything as mapped out by the settings guide. It works well for a while and I’ll turn it off for a few hours, when I turn it on again the it get a pink screen and it won’t respond or communicate with the cable box. I have a new cable box thinking that may have been the issue. I’m beyond frustrated and don’t recommend this tv.

bad inside room lighting, no printable Users uide

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every scene shot indoors was relatively darker than normal; contacted Cust svc, they suggested to fiddle with power settings, then "expert Settings" then 'Gamma" whatever that was. I asked for a downloadable, printable Users guide. Response from LG was "we are an eco-friendly' company and don't provide that. I took the set back, got a Samsung which was wonderful and had a printable users guide.

Dumpster fire

No. Our main source of media consumption is YouTube TV and the way the app works on this set is garbage. If we rewind a little to rewatch anything the audio dies & the only way to bring it back is to bail from whatever we're watching and try to come back. Makes using YouTube TV almost impossible.
