We were really disappointed however because this particular LG TV would not stay connected to the WiFi. We tried to give it a few days because we really wanted it to work out. After much research, we discovered it was a known issue with this model. We tried all the fixes and finally had to take it back to the store. Bummer!

If your router has 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, connect the TV to the 2.4 GHz band. Although 5 GHz is faster, 2.4 GHz offers a longer range and better wall penetration, ideal for bedroom setups. Changing the DNS server can fix connection drops. Go to Settings > All Settings > Connection > Wi-Fi Connection > Advanced Wi-Fi Settings. Select Edit, uncheck "Set Automatically," and manually enter IP Address@1 (Google's DNS) in the DNS Server field.
