There is something about LG TVs where their color settings are just...not great.
This is the second LG TV for my family, and it has the same exact problem. Colors look washed out or not even close to "vibrant" through all the pre-selected viewing modes. I'm sure that the colors can be corrected with manual adjustments, but I don't have the time or patience for that.
Being preloaded with Apple TV was cool, though. The built-in menus for accessing streaming apps is unobtrusive and usually responsive.

Good price, but subpar picture quality and woefully inadequate picture adjustments. Speakers quality required me to purchase an aux sound system. Overall disappointed in quality but pleased with the price.

I've had the TV for less than 6 months and it's been a never ending list of failures, most recently that the TV updated it's software, and now it's anyone's guess as to whether or not it will work today, if the remote will or won't control the TV, or even if the volume and channel rockers will actually work in the right direction (trying to turn the volume down results in max volume right now). I've gone through all of their troubleshooting steps, but the problems have just never ended. Don't waste your time or money, buy a brand that actually has some future to it.

Picture not as clear and crisp as I was expecting. Color is either too vibrant or washed out. Should have opted for a better model. Compared to a similar Samsung but chose LG because I’ve been satisfied with past purchases of LG products.

It’s an ok tv, great for a guest or kids room. I was replacing a Samsung and there is just no comparison. I chose to save a little money and try something new. Pretty sure I’ll be moving it to my son’s room and going back for another Samsung!

Low to Mid Range Priced LG TVs tend to be underwhelming but I have 4 of them.
4K Content is decent but not spectacular. Every other function is adequate

Despite tons of adjusting, there is a huge range of color and sharpness variation from channel to channel. Colors are either washed out or people are as red as lobsters. There is no way to set consistency across channels. It's frustrating and tiring. I have tried to match screen colors to the cable TV app on my iPad Pro and my previous Toshiba but there's no way to adjust every range of tint despite the controls. The overall picture definition is just so-so. I am totally disappointed in this brand and model. I'd take it back today if it weren't for the pandemic so I'm stuck with a mediocre set.... Skip this brand and model despite the low price. You'll get what you pay for, unfortunately.

Having 2 high end TV's to compare to, it's more of a case you get what you pay for. The color of faces and backgrounds I'm still experimenting to see if I can match the picture quality. For the news its good enough, its off color anyway.
