Ok, I probably should start off by saying I’m a bit of a LG fan. But they’ve earned the reputation that they have and have many fans of their products. Samsung is definitely a solid choice too, but they typically come at a higher cost and they seem to like to skimp on features, by simply limiting them. Like here with this and most other 43 inch models by LG you get 3 HDMI ports and (contrary to Best Buy’s description which lists only composite) component A/V inputs and at a regular price of only $300 this is clearly LG’s entry level offering. Similarly Samsung’s entry level offering for a 43 inch TV is their 7000 series. It’s got a legit picture and everything, but looking at the inputs for this comparison it only has 2 HDMI inputs, as opposed to 3, and no component or composite A/V inputs. So your literally getting twice as many inputs with the LG. Of course that means nothing if the quality isn’t there, but again, it’s LG! So the quality IS there! I’m not a total LG fanatic, I would advise most to avoid their phones, a number of reasons, but that’s another review. However when it comes to TV’s I’d just say get a LG and you’ll be happy. Same for Samsung, but why not get the most possible too, especially when you’re sacrificing absolutely no quality? That’s the big point here. As for size, well, that’s clearly going to vary from person to person. I will say that if you’re going from a 39 or 40 inch to a 43 inch you’ll probably be rather surprised by how much you actually DO notice those few extra inches. It honestly doesn’t sound like a big difference, but trust me, you’ll definitely notice it if you’re coming off of either a 39 or 40 inch screen. The smart features? Ok, here I’m going to say to check other reviews. I buy my TV’s to watch local broadcast channels, DVD & bluray movies and to play video games on, I very rarely stream anything, so I’m not going to speak on something that I know next to nothing about. However the TV as a whole couldn’t be better. Absolutely recommend!

I bought this LG tv about a week ago and all I can say is WOW!!!!!!! The 4K image displayed is stunning! Whether I am watching regular tv, watching movies or most importantly for me, playing video games, the picture is sharp and crisp and perfectly clear and beautiful. It has made a huge difference overall with its TruMotion 120. Everything plays silky smooth. Games that ran at 30fps on my other tv's play at 60fps now which is awesome! TruMotion 120 makes a world of a difference on everything on this tv, This TV is worth every penny and then some. I highly recommend this TV to anyone who is in the market for a new tv, this TV has totally exceeded my every expectation in every way possible. Do yourself a favor and pick one up! you'll be happy you did! Take care and God bless you!

It is a great value for money product. Picture quality is good although I feel the remote sensor may get weaker with time. I am using it for past 3 years without any issues.

Pretty decent tv I always get LG Tv's I wanted to branch off and go with another brand but I didn't... But Overall the tv is nice great pic and sound. Only negative I have is the stands for the tv not really firm kind of shaky but other than that it's an okay tv for the price I paid for it

Great TV for the price. Looks stellar with my PS4. Can’t wait to try it with the ps5 soon. Will definitely hold me over until I get the 2021 oled. LG is the way to go for TVs.

Not at all up on all this new techie world. I am having fun learning guess you can always learn. My tv has great color and enjoying seeing scenic movies. Glad I purchased the LG.

First time buying a Tv, I did my research and it paid off. No issues whatsoever, software/app updates go by smooth and quick. Remote is nice and has great functionality. There is a bit of lag when starting up but nothing I can’t live with. Overall I’m pleased with my purchase.

I've had this tv for over a year. I love it. The IPS panel is beautiful. I recently got an XBOX SERIES S and found out, this tv will run 1080p at 120hz or fps. So for anyone who has the new Xbox or Playstation consoles. This is a tv to get so you can use those features. The HDR, IPS panel and 4k upscaling is amazing in game. No lag. And for $300 FANTASTIC!

Wanted a nice 43 in for the bedroom. This was the only one that was in stock. Should have ordered one and waited. The tv works fine, no problems with it just wish it had better picture quality. Bought the Polk Audio S2 sound bar with it. Can't say enough nice things about it.
