I needed something fairly inexpensive to put a game on in the bar area of the rec room and wanted to try the LG. I find the smart interface to be fairly user friendly and the picture quality is great for the purpose I'm using it for. I'd wait for a sale as you can find this for the mid-upper $200s at the right time.

The software was a bit confusing at first. It has Apple Play included which is nice if you are an Apple device person. I’m having a hard time replicating how to get the picture to look as good as it did in the store. It does have a nice “wake up” feature that you can set it to turn on at a specific time. It also connects to 5.0 GHz internet which has been helpful since it’s far from the router. (Not sure how it will work out once everything switches to 5G.)

Installed it on a wall mount in our bedroom and hooked it up to an amplified TV antenna. In addition to the the apps (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc., getting good reception on free channels. Unfortunately, haven't had a chance to use it a lot because I usually fall asleep on the Living Room couch.
