I keep pressing the same button and turning it left and right and up and down many times in front of the TV until it catches up. Very tiresome. Piece of junk if you compare it with Roku or Google or other TV remotes. The TV is very complicated as to set up and go through the different settings. My 12 years old other LG 55" TV was very easy to use and the remote was working beautifully. LG cheapens its products; I will never buy an LG product in the future.

To resolve remote response issues, ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV’s sensor. Replace batteries with fresh ones to enhance signal strength. For Magic Remotes, re-pair by holding the “Guide” and “Return” buttons for 5 seconds.

Reasonable price, easy assembly. Only downside was that the initial setup was a bit time consuming especially with the software update. Also note that like most newer TVs this does not have a 3.5mm audio jack, just the optical one. I do recommend it if you get it on sale.

I have 3 LG smart TV they work perfectly.I had a 50in Smart TV. For 9 years I gave it away and it still works no problem. One thing I could have saved my money on the extra warranty.
