Customers are delighted by the superb picture quality, rich colors, and ease of use of the 48" Class A2 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. Many appreciate the OLED technology and the TV's lightweight design, making it easy to wall-mount. However, some users find the refresh rate and remote control less than ideal, and a few have expressed concerns about the user interface and operating system. The price point is frequently praised as a significant advantage.

Great picture and easy to navigate. The only downside is the remote. It has a curser and is difficult to operate for me. Other than that it’s great.

Had I paid the original price of $1299 I would've been disappointed. But for $599 it was well worth it. I love the inky blacks that the OLED display provides and the colors are very vibrant. That being said, I was a little disappointed by the overall brightness. Took some getting used to but it doesn't bother me anymore. It's not like you can't see it in a bright room. It's just not as bright as my previous TCL. My only other complaint would be the number of inputs but it's hardly a deal breaker. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking to get into the OLED space.

I’ve had this tv for almost 2 years now and absolutely reliable and vibrant. I researched for months and this tv is top shelf overall practical but high quality and new enough tech to last for years. Highly recommend for price and size is perfect if your watching tv in the living room or using it as a huge monitor for your computer or gaming. All around excellent. Best Buy!

Beautiful high quality picture. Color is spectacular. It’s hard to walk away from this TV once you start watching it! Settings are easy to configure. Sound bar and streaming stick set up is simple. Worth the price. We stream without any issues. Sound is ok. We recommend getting a sound bar.

My living room doesn't have a lot of wall space for a TV so I was thrilled to find an OLED TV in a 48 inch size. The extreme thinness of the OLED panel makes it fit very nice in my limited space. After using an LG OLED for gaming, there was no way I was going with any other TV technology. This entry level TV lacks the high refresh rate of the higher-end models, but it absolutely delivers the incredible picture quality.

I have been wanting an OLED tv forever. When my old LED kicked the bucket I was ECSTATIC to find this one half off! But it would have been worth full price too! The colors are almost unbelievable, especially when playing 4K HDR content. My games on my series X almost made me cry! Even regular old HD cable looks like new! You won’t regret it!!!

I couldn’t be more pleased with this tv. I loooooove it, the picture is eeeeexxxxcccceeeelllleeeeennnttt!!! Insert several star eyes emojis!! I highly highly highly recommend this tv to anyone! Best Buy has the best price! I’ve searched everywhere!
It has ai intuitive enhancement for image and sound, the difference is incredible! I’m really happy with the size too because I don’t like tv’s that totally take over the room. It fits perfectly above our fireplace on our corner wall, it’s just all around perfect!
Only complaint I would have is removing the tv from the box if you want to keep the box intact. There are no directions on how to successfully remove the tv, only what not to do. It is pretty much impossible to follow their directions of what not to do because it’s almost impossible not to grab the screen and they advise against grabbing the screen to remove. You can just carefully slice the box open and remove it that way, which they also advise against, but if you are trying to keep the box as a renter and know you’ll probably move in 2 years or so like me, then that’s not an option for you. My roommate and I did finally remove it, but she did end up grabbing the screen at one point. It’s pretty impossible to remove from the box without doing that. So, i would suggest engineering a better box for removal.

The quality of the image is awesome! I don't like the control though. The master "ok" bottom is a ball that is under the surface of the control. If you have big fingers or long nails as I have, it is very difficult to click. It would always click first in other of the bottoms around the "ok" bottom because they are in the same level than the surface. Also, it has problems with some apps like "peacock" and another I dont remember now. It disconnect any live broadcasting. For example, I could not watch live the soccer world cup in this TV. I got the TV in a sale, so otherwise it would not be worthy.

I bought this while on sale and it was definately worth the $600 sale price. This tv looks fantastic for the content I watch in the bedroom in the evenings. The deep blacks and rich colors look amazing! The remote is a bit confusing to use at first but you get used to it, you don’t have to use it like a wii remote if you just click the directional buttons. Highly reccomend this tv if you dont plan to use for next gen console gaming as it wont support those features. The nintendo switch however looks great on it!

On sale today at last month's Black Friday price it replaced our 50" Samsung LED bedroom TV that fit like a glove into our Armoire. This is the 48" OLED from LG made specifically for Best Buy, at least for now. It fit into the same spot leaving about an inch on each side, and is an inch shorter in height, so yes the screen is slightly smaller than the 50" it replaced. BUT in dim light this thing pops unlike anything I've seen except its big brother the 65" OLED LG B9 in our living room. At a third of what I paid for the 65" three years ago in November of 2019 I found the way to justify an OLED for the bedroom. Otherwise this purchase would not have happened in December of 2022. Thank you LG and thank you Best Buy.

This tv has amazing color and clarity, and great sound quality. The remote is very sensitive. I connected my dvd player easily, but not my sound bar. Couldn't find the correct numbers to enter. I haven't even used all the things it offers like voice command from built in Alexa. Will be using it soon.

1+ year after ownership and I'm still pretty stunned by this TV. It's my first OLED, so it's the first time in my 30 years on this earth I am actually seeing a TV display the color black. The rest of the colors are spectacular as well.
It does HDMI w/ ARC and CEC flawlessly to an old Marantz AV and Roku. Can't say much about the UI: I use a Roku which is always speedy and has voice control, which the LG does not. And the Roku remote integrates perfectly - it turns on/off and does volume on the TV, AV receiver, and Roku all together. One remote! Amazing!
Needless to say I am very pleased. But not all is perfect. A few times I've seen a specific pixel get stuck white for a few minutes. By the time I get the energy to think about doing something about it, it seems to resolve itself. Not worth going without the TV for a few days over something I've seen happen for 15 minutes out of a years worth of ownership. There's a million other pixels, and it's been absolutely stunning 99.999% of the time.
Overall, OLED is worth the hype. And this TV got me there at a lower price point than I thought it could.

Incredible value. Great TV. Exactly what I hoped for. I’ve owned a C8 55” 2018 that I paid 2200 for and I’ve been wanting to upgrade my bedroom TV ever since but I didn’t want to spend more than $1k on it. Getting this cyber Monday for $550 was an amazing deal. I don’t game in my bedroom so a good quality OLED at 60 Hz isn’t a problem for me. Most TV and movie content is under 30 fps anyways.
If you haven’t experienced OLED before the A range is a fantastic entry point. You’ll want to rewatch everything you’ve ever loved because it will be like seeing them for the first time as they were meant to be seen.
I can’t speak toward the smart features but I like the LG webOS on my other LG OLED. Roku works really well with this TV of course.
The speakers are actually quite decent I think for a bedroom TV. I don’t feel the need to get a soundbar.

This was LG’s first OLED model and has all the crispness and backlit brightness you’d expect from an OLED. I’m not a gamer, so I wasn’t interested in the later models that they upgraded that aspect of. I got all the features I wanted and then some for a smokin’ price.

I'm very happy with this purchase. My former TV was a 43" Toshiba 43C350 that had a very good picture but the screen started to separate from the frame and I tried to push the frame back together it cracked (not terrible) the screen. So I've been in the market for a new TV for nearly a year for a replacement. Enter the LG A2, at $550 (black Friday 2023) it is an outstanding value. The picture is wonderful and I feel the sound is very good (other reviews not so much) and I can't believe the value for an 48" OLED screen. I also have a LG 65"G2 in the living room, yes the picture is better on the G2, put for the money this TV can't be beat. I'm just loving this A2 and installation was a snap, I was able to use the wall mount for the Toshiba (with minor modifications). The LG A2 has more features than I can use and a picture that is unbeatable at this price.

I have had my new tv for a few weeks now. I am so happy with it! The color and sound are great. I already had a sound bar which improves the sound, but not necessary. Picture is so clear and realistic, it’s like having the actors in the room! No regrets.

I'm loving the image on the OLED panel. The blacks are true, and the settings give you enough options to tweak the image if you desire. The sound is great also. I have it in my bedroom and I find no need for a sound bar.

48” OLED - Perfect for a Child’s Bedroom

This is a great TV for a child’s bedroom. The OLED picture on this A2 48” model is spectacular! I own a 2018 55” C8 & a 2022 65” C2, and the A2 is comparable in overall quality. It’s missing the black frame insertion feature, so motion isn’t as good, but it’s perfect for its purpose. Plus, I really like the “Child Care” feature. I believe I may have purchased the last new model available through Best Buy. Right after I completed my purchase, I clicked back on the product and it showed sold out. I originally purchased this TV as an open box (excellent) from my local store, but once I got home, I noticed the screw was stripped on one the legs. I tried some techniques to remove the screw, but was unsuccessful. This prevented me from wall mounting, so I returned it. They did not offer any assistance in removing the screw and placed it back on the shelf, marked as excellent condition ($575). Hopefully they inform another customer of the issue before someone else purchases it again. I was glad to purchase this as a new product for $599, plus the 5 year warranty for only $119. I saw these were a little less expensive around Black Friday, but I’m still happy at this price. If you can still grab one, I would highly recommend this TV!
