Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the superb picture quality, rich colors, and ease of use of the 48" Class A2 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. Many appreciate the OLED technology and the TV's lightweight design, making it easy to wall-mount. However, some users find the refresh rate and remote control less than ideal, and a few have expressed concerns about the user interface and operating system. The price point is frequently praised as a significant advantage.

I was wanting to upgrade to an OLED so I found an open box for about $350. I was extremely happy. The blacks are amazing and hypnotic on this TV. I love the way the colors are it’s a pretty amazing TV. I didn’t mount it nor use the legs, LG makes a stand for this and it fits perfectly. I’m extremely happy with it and would purchase again. The sound quality is amazing.

Got this on sale for $550. It is a wonderful tv. I absolutely love OLED. I bought this for a bedroom with blackout curtains and I have to turn down the brightness. Can't say how it performs in high lighting situations. 60hz is all I need in a TV so not having 120hz is fine. I don't have a console. Sound quality isn't bad for just a little bedroom TV also.

Great TV on a budget. Picture is vivid and crisp. The TV has an audio feature for 3D ambient sounds which creates a theatre/soundbar experience without having one. Easy to set up and processing speed seems to be very fast while using apps such as Netflix and YouTube. Recommend to anyone trying to get an OLED screen on a budget.

Entry level OLED, but picture quality coming from a standard LED is stellar. Only 60Hz, so not going to knock your socks off for gaming, but still very competent when watching most shows and movies. The price simply cannot be beat. 100% recommend if you’re entering the wirld of OLED!

Excellent little 4k tv for the price. Was even better because I was able to get it on sale. Oled tv have great contrast and dark inky blacks. Love watching movies and playing video games on it. The is decent until you turn on the AI enhanced audio then it becomes excellent. Sound became lauder and more full and better bass

This was my first OLED and I am pretty impressed with the colors. I read it’s entry-level but to be honest, the picture itself makes me not wanna purchase TV’s other than OLED in the future. The price point was good for the budget, and despite being smaller than other that are cheaper, it’s all about quality and this delivered.

Great picture, true black, but not a fan of LG's Web OS user interface. Its slow, glitchy, liimited features and it doesn't currently support the ESPN+ app...

Great TV at an unbelievable Black Friday sale. High-quality OLED TV. Sharp picture and full colors. One of my favorite TV purchases I have made. LG does need to find a better way for remotes to work with the LG TV they come with and not control a second TV in the room. The LG app is not sufficient and the remotes are not TV specific.

If you’re looking for TVs in the $500-$800 range, this TV’s picture quality is unbeatable. It’s a phenomenal OLED! Colors pop, detail is crunchy sharp and viewing angle is infinite! Even the speakers are surprisingly great, loud and clear and can easily compete with any other TV in this price range. It is plenty bright too unless direct

Fantastic picture without the price tag. I bought this on the black friday deal. TV has amazing picture with pich black blacks. This tv replaced my old sony 900f that im having issues with and the picture and black levels are amazing watching movies on it. Ya it doesnt have the same fetures of the c2 or g2 but you dont need those for just watching tv or movies

I upgraded to the 48” LG A2 OLED tv from a Vizio and as expected the picture upgrade was great, especially on dark shows. The colors were so vibrant etc, all as expected. I had not expected the Audio to be so good though, and also the remote. Bravo LG, and at this sort of discounted price it was better than i hoped for!

Cant go wrong with oled , still get amazing picture for movies and tv but just not the extras like 120 hertz or 2.1 hdmi for gaming. But if you score this tv on sale its a definite no brainer. Regularly goes on sale for 799.00 and if tour lucky like i was 599.00 you cant be disappointed. I would by no meanes ever pay full price for this tv but aim for a sale and cant go wrong.

Picture, colors everything nice. Simple to maneuver the tv options, even for me. Using indoor antenna and get about 16 channels, could probably get more but I live far from large cities and mountains all around. Able to use external BT speakers and even pairing two external speakers for great sound when watching movies.

One of the most unfriendly UI's I've ever seen

Picture is great. Everything else makes this the worst TV I've ever owned. The absolute worst UI I've seen. I have a RokuTV and a Samsung in other rooms that are far better. Latest experience: I was prompted to update YouTubeTV app. When I tried, I received a popup to log into my LG account. This shouldn't be necessary to update an app that I've already installed and that they should supposedly have verified. The ThinQ login option didn't work at all, so I had to manually log in with their very clunky remote/keyboard process. Then prompted to change password, without the option of doing it later. So updating apps for the TV turned into a 20-minute exercise.

I bought this TV to use as a monitor and a TV in my bedroom. It is the perfect size for my room, responds exceptionally quickly, and looks fantastic. It has the beautiful contrast I was looking for in an OLED TV and is ideal for all my needs. I'd recommend this TV to anyone looking for a moderate-sized TV.

4-5 strong.. 60 hz kinda hurts the performance.. and I haven’t found a sleep timer.. but otherwise.. it’s a great tv.. never have to turn the volume past 14 in the bedroom.. picture quality is great.. there’s a lag in the picture for 2-3 seconds when changing apps or stations or messing around..
