Many appreciate the OLED technology and the TV's lightweight design, making it easy to wall-mount. However, some users find the refresh rate and remote control less than ideal, and a few have expressed concerns about the user interface and operating system. The price point is frequently praised as a significant advantage.

I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present. The quality of the picture is fantastic and even the sound is great. She loves it and the price was really good. I purchased the same tv a couple of years ago and paid a few hundred more. Mine is still working great so I knew I was getting a great tv.

This TV was an incredible deal, and OLED makes a huge difference. I use it in my bedroom, and it's perfect for a dark room at night. The color and brightness are great, and the sound is pretty good as well.

I've had this for over a year and I'm very happy with it. This was recommended by a Best Buy salesperson who helped me out when I returned another tv that didn't have the level of picture quality that I was looking for. This tv cost more than the one that needed to be returned, but it was worth it. This tv is for our master bedroom. The tv's size, picture quality and features are perfect. It has all the "smarts" (smart tv, bluetooth, etc) that we need. The WebOS took some getting used to coming off of a previous Samsung/Tizen experience, but we got used to it, and I'm very happy with this purchase.

So far so good! The blacks are very black, the sound is great, and the operating system makes sense. This replaced a 10+ year old Hitachi, so it has melted my brain. My enjoyment of all things audio and visual has improved tenfold and my quality of life has gone up ~2%. Would purchase again.

Have had this TV for about a month. I have one significant issue with it - the remote - which I'll cover in a minute. Picture is good, not great but fine for the price point of this TV. Sound is poor - standard for flat screens - but that's why there are sound bars. The TV will apparently suggest realigning the app menu based on your frequency of use. That's appreciated and handy. But the remote - oh my. It is klunky beyond words - the product of some engineer having too much time on his/her hands. It has the fairly standard control disc (up/down/left/right) similar to an Apple remote, and a center "button" that you press to select whatever you've scrolled to using the disc (also like an Apple remote). But that "button" is actually a roller-wheel that rolls up and down, but doing so will change the row of apps or programs that you're in and negate what you've done with the disc if you move it inadvertently; and in some instances - I can't figure out when it's going to do this - clicking the center button puts a cursor on the screen that will then move with the button/wheel . How you get rid of that cursor remains a mystery though once you actually successfully get it to the app (it is extremely sensitive) you want to select and choose that app, it seems to go away. I can't figure out how having two different systems do the same function is necessary or helpful. A simpler system would be better.

Once you buy the first LG OLED, you'll never go back. The picture, colors, shadow detail, etc is just un-comparable. Sound is also better than any other set I've had, and I didn't even hook up my sound bar. I'm totally impressed. This is my second set. The first was purchased 4 years ago and is operating flawlessly.

Gorgeous, vibrant picture quality and sound. We have another LG so I knew how to handle the magic remote already. My husbabd is not a fan of the remote but I think its fine. He loves the tv picture quality, colors and brightness. This TV does not disappoint!

The LG 48" Class A2 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV is an excellent option if you’re looking for premium picture quality at a more affordable OLED price point. The OLED panel delivers deep blacks, vibrant colors, and great contrast for movies and gaming. Its 4K resolution with HDR support makes everything look sharp and lifelike. The built-in webOS platform is smooth and user-friendly, giving you quick access to apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. One drawback is that the A2 series has a 60Hz refresh rate, so it’s not as ideal for competitive gamers compared to LG’s higher-end OLEDs. However, for everyday streaming, movies, and casual gaming, it’s a solid performer with a sleek design that looks great in any room.

Absolutely LOVE this TV! Bought it during a clearance sale and it is everything I needed. Great color, automatically switches to game mode when my system turns on. There are built in gaming presets to change lighting and depth. The picture is the biggest selling point for me and absolutely makes it worth the cost.

This TV was recommended for people with Macular degeneration so my Mom bought it. We set it up for her and the colors are vibrant and so clear. She loves it and can see it better than any other TV. The picture is so good that it seems like people are in the room with you. I want one for myself now!

The picture quality is second to none. The colors are beautiful. It was easy to setup and use right out of the box. The pointer feature makes it easy to use. Getting LG stations was a great added bonus. If am a photographer and this TV shows the photos better than anything else I have seen. Fantastic!

    Perfect Bedroom OLED!!!

I have a 65" OLED in the living room and wanted to look to replace a 15 year old LCD in my bedroom. I was considering a 55" LG B2, however for the price, the 48" A2 at $570 is an absolute steal. I had concerns about lesser brightness and 60Hz panel compared to the step up models, but those concerns were absolutely unfounded. In my moderately lit bedroom it has more than enough brightness. And anti-reflective screen also helps. The 60Hz panel is no issue. There are motion smoothing options which do a good enough job to remove blur and judder without making it look fake. I don't game so I can't speak to that. I usually watch TV in bed at night (SDR and HDR content) and that is truly when this OLED shines. Compared to my old LCD, the inky blacks and color pop is what I love most about owning OLED TVs. I'm thrilled I can have the same picture quality while watching my favorite shows in bed as I do in my living room! I know OLED doesn't fit everyone's use case, watching environment or budget. But the image quality is far superior than anything else in this price range.

Really great tv for the money. Very happy with the picture and also just how it looks on the stand. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the remote. I don't like the motion/smart remote. Its usable but is a bit to get used to for me. Call me old fashioned but I just dont need a tv remote to have a motion cursor flying around the screen. If I could get a bare bones remote, I would. Other than that though, good tv, no issues there.

A2 Wins - Highly Recommended OLED Tv

I had been waiting for a while to for OLED Tv prices to go down in order to justify paying a tv that much if money and couldn’t resist this tenting price when I needed a tv in my bedroom . I have also compared this A2 model with C3 model side by side and it was as good as C3 for streaming movies and shows on. Not sure about gaming performance or 120 hz vs 60 hz difference but I wasn’t able to notice any difference in picture quality when steaming on apps like Netflix, Disney and Prime Channels. I guess these is difference in the paper but from 10 feet away I can’t tell a legit difference by the eye. The only difference I was able to see was the sound was better on C3 but not much. Highly recommended at this price point ($550 at the time of this review)

I bought this during this year's Black Friday deal. Great picture for the value. Amazing blacks, of course. I don't miss the greater processing power you might get from the C2. Fights off glare reasonably well. I'm happy with the brightness as well (although some reviews note it doesn't get as bright as the Samsung QLEDs or the higher price LG OLEDs). An excellent second TV.

Nice TV at a great price. Had to disable some security settings on Wi-Fi but after that the smart interface has worked great. The remote could have more intuitive button placement and the point and click feature is inconsistent across apps, but the sound and picture are excellent.
