Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the superb picture quality, rich colors, and ease of use of the 48" Class A2 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. Many appreciate the OLED technology and the TV's lightweight design, making it easy to wall-mount. However, some users find the refresh rate and remote control less than ideal, and a few have expressed concerns about the user interface and operating system. The price point is frequently praised as a significant advantage.

Great picture. Rich colors, great contrast, plenty bright in my viewing room. Better than average built-in sound. All the settings one could want. webOS is somewhat basic but functional. "Magic Remote" takes some getting used to. Purchased as "Open Box - Excellent" on closeout for less than half MSRP. Product was as advertised. Excellent value at that price.

So far the TV is working great. Pretty easy to set up although there are a lot of things you can do to adjust the picture. The detail of the video is incredible. So clear

Loved the OLED. Its perfect for the side room tv. It's a little small for a main living room TV but it works perfect for what I use it for. Wish it was 120 hz refresh but for the price you can't beat it.

LG OLEDs are proven technology, and the A2 48" is a great buy at 600 bucks , theres no better deal for an OLED TV. it still has a low latency option for gaming and that comes in handy.

I've been wanting an OLED for the bedroom, but haven't wanted to pay premium prices for a secondary TV. When I saw the 48" A2 on sale for what is basically clearance prices, I had to pull the trigger. Even though 48" is a little big for a bedroom TV, it has worked out great. Since OLED TVs don't use backlights, I can watch TV in bed without feeling like I'm searing my retinas at night. In addition, the audio quality superb for built-in speakers. I had been planning on getting a sound bar with the previous TV, but with this TV I haven't had the need.

Amazing TV great image! does not support 120hz so maybe not the best for gaming but if you don’t plan on doing gaming over 60fps then don’t even worry about it.

$550 for OLED? What could go wrong? At that price, nothing! Well, OK. Could have a backlit remote! Have had it for about three weeks, and after tweaking and fine-tuning the settings to my preference, the image quality is amazing. I will admit the screen may be a little dark for some inputs, but my room is not excessively bright, and it looks great. Apple TV looks three-dimensional, as well as many of the other streaming apps. If a 48 inch television is what you are looking for, I don't possibly see how you could do any better at this price point.

Great picture and sound; good quality build. Best TV I have ever owned. If you are on the fence in buying an OLED then don’t hesitate; it’s so much better compared to 4K LED I had.

A great OLED TV…for the price!

As the title states, “A great OLED TV…for the price”. I paid $569 and think that’s a good deal for this TV. The “A” series is LG’s “bargain” tier OLED so we know we’re giving up something compared to LG’s “B”, “C” and “G” series OLED’s. What are those things we’re giving up? - Brightness: The peak brightness is around 550 nits which is considerably lower than the “B”, “C” and “G” series OLED’s from LG. So, only mediocre performance with HDR & not a great choice for bright rooms -Studder/Judder: Doesn’t handle low frame rate content well (ie 24 fps content). -Gaming: no HDMI 2.1 ports and only 60 hrtz refresh rate -Processor: The “A” series has LG’s “A7 Gen 5” processor whereas the “C” and “G” series has the more advanced “A9 Gen 5” processor (ie better upscaling and motion processing“. I bought this TV for a dark bedroom (for streaming movies and TV), so the lack of brightness is not really an issue in this environment. I also like that the TV has stands that are spread out and are quite high. I was able to use a soundbar that I had and it easily fits in front of the TV (ie no need to wall mount). All in all, a really nice OLED TV. Just probably not the best TV for bright rooms or for those who are hard core gamers!

Great overall but move on if you’re looking to enjoy a next Gen gaming experience. This will not allow for 120hz 4k. Otherwise, love this tv. The colors and contrasts are great. Excellent picture and even sound.

As my first Oled TV, the difference is notable and the picture quality truly superior to VA panels. The blacks in particular are notably deeper!

My 48" LG OLED TV finally died. We had a good run! It was like losing a family member. The next day I went into the Irvine Store where I purchased it. I was hoping to get the similar type tv. To my shock, they had the SAME TV and it had just gone on sale a few days earlier. Talk about dumb luck/timing. I was able to get my same TV.....on sale, for just $550. The regular price was $1299.99 just days earlier. The stars were aligned that day! I was in and out of the store in about 20 minutes. The tv was delivered a few days later. Life is good again!
