  • Great TV Before intermittent issues started

    This is my second LG OLED TV. My first one is a couple years old now (B9) and has been a great TV. I used this one for PC gaming and watching TV and movies for about 500 hundred hours before a line of pixels started flashing white in a vertical line during dark scenes and content. Very annoying. Dealing with their customer service has a been extremely annoying, I chatted with them through their site and spoke with them on the phone at least 3 times and described the issue in detail each time but they kept saying "dead pixel." Each time I tried to explain it wasn't a dead pixel. They would not accept a video of the issue, only still images. So imagine my surprise when a technician took my TV in for repair and was unable to reproduce the issue in his shop (even though I provided him a video file that would highlight it) and returned the TV to me with the issue still happening. I love OLED TVs, but next time I will buy a Sony instead in hopes that their customer service will be able to resolve problems easier. Currently I am awaiting a second call from a different technician. When I inquired about them swapping the TV out or taking it back they said "only a technician can approve that." Fine but now I have to coordinate pickup and drop off of the $1100 TV around my work schedule a second time. Not happy.

    my brother recommended this tv for my Xbox Series X, sure the tv is pretty cool in terms of contrast ratio with the whole OLED, but, Samsung needs to make this thing in a 36”/32” option, because there is absolutely no way you can even realistically play sweaty or competitive FPS games on this TV. also, I couldn’t calibrate the tv, or the xbox settings to get a natural and good picture on it, the picture felt SUPER UNNATURAL in terms of color, as if it had some cheesy grey Instagram filter on it.
