I also set it up for audio optical cable out to my receiver and it reverts back to tv speakers with my playstation 5. It is very frustrating and will be returning it next weekend. Big disappointment given the outstanding picture quality.

Features Blocked Unless You Let LG Sell Your Data

It's just completely unacceptable. What a horrid company.

Died on me after 15 months

This LG lasted just beyond the 12 month warranty before dying on me. The technician I took it to said LG would not provide him with replacement parts and anyway it would be too expensive to repair. I have recently bought a 50 inch TCL QLED TV for just $300 and the video and audio qualities are just as good as that expensive LG turkey.

Dead On Arrival.

Tried tips I found online for getting a recalcitrant LG TV to turn on; nothing helped. I'm returning it and getting a different brand. We also had a bad experience with an LG refrigerator. The compressor died, and then we found there was a class-action lawsuit because the problem was so common. And local repair people didn't want to work on it because they had trouble getting paid by LG for warranty work! We are giving up on LG.

Defective product

A bright green vertical line now runs from top to bottom on the screen display. Other users note that this is a “known problem” with these TVs but LG currently offers no solution to this “common problem”. I will return this for a full credit and buy a Sony, unless you can provide a solution within the next 48 hrs. I also attempted to register this product on LGs website several times to no avail.

20220724 - LG C1 48" does not turn on. Returned.

Soon as I connected to power, would not even turn on. Got with LG Chat who would verify the same. Returned it to Best Buy, who repeated the same. Tried to re-order, but they could not even backorder it, its out of stock now, replaced by the C2 which costs hundreds more, no thanks, got my refund.

LG not compatible with ROKU.

It continues to tell me my " password is incorrect " I at one point got it to connect for about 6 hours, it then disconnected itself and has continued to tell me my information is incorrect lol.

Arrived damaged

I purchased open box and the tv was shipped even though the box did contain the styrofoam in the top part of the box. The screen was shattered at one of the corners. This is my first bad experience with open box items.
