    Happy with this purchase!

This is my first OLED TV. The visual is just spectacular. I have subscribed to streaming platforms with Dolby Vision in them, and the pictures are just amazing. It is also compatible with Dolby Atmos, for which I bought an LG compatible soundbar. Everything is working well so far. One thing that I would suggest though is to improve the operating system app. I have the Sony smart TV as well, and they have a google Home operating system; it looks much better and I am more familiar with the experience. However, overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Love the TV. Got this one on a great deal. Wall mounted sits very close to the wall. Love the picture quality. The interface is very easy to navigate through. Haven’t had a chance to play games on the tv but from what I’ve heard this is one of the best gaming tvs out. The remote is comes with is really nice quality. Props to LG. Only con is I didn’t get a big enough tv. Oh and the sound is amazing without a sound bar.

I Finally took the plunge and went OLED

I have a Sony 900F 49 that is AMAZING at everything from SDR to HD and 4k UHD is spectacular on my perfect Sony 900F..But I'm a bit of an enthusiast when it comes to advanced graphics and technology that goes with it... I have been watching reviews for I dunno 4 or 5 months it feels like - comparing every TV out there - mostly OLED vs LED ..I was seriously looking at the QN90A just because i wanted a BIG TV since I have been really getting into 4K streaming content lately...I placed like at least 30 different orders for different TV's from the A90J to the CX to the QN90a to the X95J ....made and cancelled so many orders I was sure Amazon was gunna ban my account...Anyway, i came to the realization I was NOT going to handle waiting for a TV in the mail because the order would be cancelled SO I MUST go to Best Buy and walk out with it, otherwise it'll never happen.. By the way the Samsung QN90A absolutely blew me away in the store, as did The Samsung Terrace TV (brightest TV i have EVER seen and it was mind blowing). But I have heard so many bad things about these TV's and I am also fully aware of Samsung reliability issues with their TV's so I try to steer clear of Samsung anymore...(They used to have great QC on their Tv's long ago - those days are gone - just read reviews of samsung Tv's). But there's only one brand I trust less than Samsung and that is LG...with that being said, it's ironic I ended up with an LG oled C1 - a company I do not trust 1% (Lg)... But I was tired of watching youtube reviews for months on end and wanted to make a decision and take a TV home from BB...THE C1 was on sale and looked great in store but that Sony A80 looked great but man oh man that Sony A90J was bananas how good it looked! - But some nice dude in BB i met, who claimed to know a lot about Tv's, told me the sonys had a lot of artifacting and "grid effect" and motion issues - he wholeheartedly suggested the G1 or the C1 as the Tvs to get...So I took his advice and also bought a 5 year extended BB Geek Squad Warranty in case it burns in..peace of mind so I can sleep at night :) As far as the TV goes, let me say right out of the gate I really like the TV, especially after signing up for HBO Max in 4K streaming service, so i can watch major studio blockbusters and the best original series made - and HBO looked AMAZING in 4K on my TV - that's when I REALLY noticed the advanced resolution of the TV and was finally feeling happy, because truth be told, i have been feeling some buyers remorse after buying the TV yesterday - and below is the reason why. First let me say the TV gets plenty bright - I was soooo worried if the TV would be bright enough. Yes it does best in a dark room, which I can provide for added effect, but during the day when the light is shining in, i can actually see the TV just fine - so don't worry about brightness if you're wondering about that. My disappointment comes in realizing that about 65% of the content I watch, is regular TV shows, like streaming the News on Pluto TV or maybe watching discovery plus tv shows, and some content on Amazon Prime - and for those purposes, my Sony 900F LED TV actually has a significantly sharper picture and more colorful and more pleasing to watch than my LG C1....so my LG C1 might outshine my Sony on 4k Movies, but I only watch that about 35% of the time...so 65% of the time, if I watch the LG, it's a downgrade for me, because my Sony LED is so much sharper for the 65% of content i actually watch..which is kind of sad and disappointing..I really wondered today if I would've been happier with another LCD like the Samsung QN90A - but with all the DSE and black crush and bad motherboards and audio issues, EH - my sony 900F has none of those problems - so I just decided to keep my Sony LED and mounted that in the kitchen so i can watch the news and mounted my LG C1 in the prime spot where i watch the most - the bedroom..i just wish the LG C1 could pop like my sony does on SDR or HD content..i have even seen "4k content" that looked really sharp on my Sony LED, but looked washed out on my Lg C1 - disappointing because 65% of the time, i will feel like i downgraded if i watch normal content on the LG.... but when I turn on HBO in 4K or whatever, THEN THEN THEN the LG C1 can really please the eyes..... The sound coming out from the TV is phenomenal! However, once I wall mounted it, that ruined the sound and it sounded terrible against the wall....plugged in my Klipsch Promedia Computer Speakers 2.1 into the TV and all was well... Part of me wishes I had either A) Went for Sony LED or B) Bought the Samsung Qn90A so i had 2 LED's rather than one LED and one OLED..but i was so curious, i love new technology....I just don't trust LG at all to last....so 5 year BB geek squad warranty lets me sleep at night..

    5 Stars - But - Needs a Backlit remote!

Quick review - I agree with all the 5 star reviews. This is a great TV. Too Suggestions! Buy a sound bar. Makes a big difference. The ONLY draw back......LG needs to make the Remote BACKLIT! Even with lights on in the room....it's a pain in the neck to see the remote buttons at night. Comcast/Xfinity remote is backlit...very helpful.

After going back and forth for what seems like forever, I finally decided to pull the trigger on the C1 and I honestly can say I’ve never been happier with a purchase in my life. Out of the box this TV is spectacular, but calibration is definitely need to really get the full experience of this amazing TV. Everything from regular TV to Sports to 4K shows/movies to video games looks incredible on this TV. The game optimizer is truly something so groundbreaking and will be a must have for avid gamers who have PS5, Xbox Series X/S or PC gamers who want a bigger screen to enjoy going forward. Burn in shouldn’t be an issue for most people if the TV is used properly and there are enough settings on the TV to help you avoid it. All in all this TV is amazing and is one you cannot go wrong in purchasing

Easy setup, works great, beautiful picture, lots of customization options and fits perfectly in my small apartment. Couldn't ask for more from a TV. Sound from TV itself isn't terrible, but you should definitely get a sound bar/subwoofer combo to get the most out of it. Will see how it performs as time passes, only had it for about a month.

I haven't bought a tv since my 32" 1080p back in 2009. I gotta say this tv is amazing. From the visual clarity and proformance of movies and video games. I dig the audio from the speakers when I put in cinema mode. I am very happy with the LG C1, the 7 months of having it.

Great TV when it was on sale, not much different than the C4 and beyond. A little dim compared to QD OLED and LED TVs, but everything else is great.

i’m so glad i purchased my 48” LG from best buy. it was easy to order it online & i received it exactly when promised. the set-up provided by their installation service is well worth the extra fee - it was a quick & the installer answered my questions after giving me brief instructions. will definitely repeat this process when ready for the new family room tv!
