Perfect with PS5!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding TV! Pairs beautifully with my PS5. I love that it automatically dims any areas that look like a logo or UI to prevent burn in. I actually started wearing my glasses while playing so I can see the resolutuion this puts out. Can't comment on sound quality as I play using headphones.

2nd time was the charm? QC issues.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent TV provided you get a working one. The first one I brought home didn't even turn on, just displayed glitchy lines for a few seconds before going black. Exchanging it, while an utter pain for obvious reasons, was quite simple. I ended up reordering the same TV and the second one was great. Fingers crossed it lasts.

Buyer Be Aware.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this open box certified. Was going to return it but didn't get time within the 15 day window. Whoever reboxed this thing didn't take any care in doing so. To start with the screen has minor scratches in it because they didn't bother to put the screen protector bag on it. They also cleared the hours of use in the memory. Screen appears to have some burn in. The tv itself seems good build. Picture proformance is fair. The TV has proformance issues, somewhat slow and glitchy. Most likely because of the lack of sufficient memory. Have had issues with Apps crashing, as i have found other people reporting the same. Unfortunately finding this out after dishing out alot of money for this thing. Haven't used it for gaming as of yet, so can't comment on that. I have found that other people have had issues with proformance while gaming and dvd play back. All i can say is buyer beware, do your research before considering LG. I will agree that LG makes a great panel, but the hardware that makes it great, falls short. Fyi. Other companies use LG panels.

Great TV but a touch too expensive.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's overpriced.

LG TV Good - Best Buy Not So Much
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this TV in January 2022. TV is good with exception to a known problem LG has with the initial sign in. As for Best Buy, I won't be purchasing product from Best Buy again. I found this TV for less at Lowes but I decided to purchase it from Best Buy on their price match because I assumed Best Buy would provide better support. I was wrong. Lowes has a 30 day return policy. Best Buy has 14. Best Buy will not provide any support unless you also buy an expensive support/warranty extension package. Additionally, according to a store Geek Squad employee, I was advised they use a third party repair outlet for warranty repair and support of TV's. If you go directly through LG, they provide one year warranty and home visits would be included if needed. When contacting LG direct about the sign in issue mentioned above, I received fast and accurate information on how to resolve it. They even offered to send someone to my home to get it resolved under warranty. All said and done, I found Best Buy was not the best buy.

TV is 42 inches wide. Dimer than others.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is not 48 inches. It is 42. It is 48 inches on the diagonal. It is not as bright as my last Samsung and it is not as crisp. It appears there has been some kind of manipulation in the ratings. Extremely disappointed.

Posted .The standard way to express the size of a TV is by using the diagonal measurement. This is true of all TV brands. As you point out, it measures 48" diagonally, so the size is correctly reflected. The LG C1 OLED series has been consistently hailed as the best performing TV available today, by consumers and expert reviewers alike. There is no "manipulation" of any ratings. If you believe your TV is too dim, take a look at the various picture settings available. Also, it's possible that the auto-power saving feature may darken the picture in certain lighting conditions.

A Not So SMART TV!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not a gamer. And I am not using an antenna or cable. I am using streaming apps, in particular, YouTube TV and YouTube TV sucks on this "smart" TV. I have two other LG smart TVs and YouTube TV works fine on those two TVs so I blame this TV for the problems. On an average of once per day I have to unplug the TV to fix YouTube TV. (Not so easy when the TV sits on a heavy piece of furniture and the TV is plugged in behind it!) And that is not the only problem.

Buyer Beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took delivery of the tv today but it came in a torn box with stuff moving around inside. I didn’t even bother opening it and returned it to BB. BB put it up for sale within minutes without inspecting the product to make sure it wasn’t damaged. Really, BB is that your quality control? You should be ashamed.
