The only thing I don’t like is that the volume auto control doesn’t work when I’m using the LG to watch my Directv. The volume moves up and down like crazy and it’s distracting. But I can live with it.

Color-fringing on text wasn't that big of a deal. at around 35 inches from the screen but it did feel a bit odd not having the curve of my 34 inch ultra wide. Unfortunately the tv developed some lines of green pixels within a couple of days and I had to return it. I guess it was a fluke, but I wasn't able to get a replacement so I had to go back to my ultra wide, which feels tiny by comparison.
