Customers are enthusiastic about the 48" Class C3 Series OLED evo 4K UHD Smart webOS TV's picture quality, citing incredible clarity, vibrant colors, and excellent contrast. The ease of use and impressive performance for gaming also receive high praise. However, some users find the remote control and operating system less intuitive. The TV's weight is also noted as a potential drawback.

Had this TV for over a year. Picture quality is great, sound isn’t bad either. Only drawback is the track ball on the remote. Otherwise would recommend.

If I was only rating the tv picture quality and sound it would be an easy 10 out of 10. However the remote control and operating system drives me crazy.(It’s a short drive) The goofy tear drop and not being able to add apps that my Android tv allowed are also annoying. 4 out of 5 is as generous as I can be.

I didn't think I would be impressed with picture quality but wow. Must watch movies in filmmaker mode. It's not as bright as reviewers mentioned. You will need a dark room get that quality experience.
Sound is excellent. It can shake a room at half volume.
Plenty of bells and whistles.
It took awhile to learn the remote and features. Not as intuitive as I would have expected (too lazy to read the manual) but got the hang of it after a couple of hours couch surfing.
App is a little buggy on an iPhone, but it's great to listen through your phone so you don't disturb your significant other in the middle of the night, unless you want to and can crank up the volume.

Moving from a 10 year old 720P to this was astounding. (Why did I wait so long?) Watching my content - movies, series, even news is like a whole new experience. Sound is excellent. Gave my soundbar to a relative!

Love the TV. It's replacing an old Panasonic plasma TV, which, incidently was a great TV and still works. Great picture quality. Smart TV loaded with options I haven't explored yet. Good sound quality.

Amazing TV. The OLED makes a big difference and the speakers on these are very nice. No need for a sound bar in my opinion. One year later and still like brand new. No issues other than i'm not fond of the giant remote. But i use an apple tv with it so it wasn't too big of deal.

I will start by saying this TV lives up to the hype of all the websites. If you're like me, you do your research before pulling the trigger on a big ticket item like this, and the reviews do not disappoint!
That said, if I could give the TV 4.75 stars, I would. This is only due to the clunky user interface LG uses, webOS. It's more difficult to navigate that other brands (like Samsung, for example), but is by no means unusable. The remote control is also somewhat gimmicy, with the "magic pointer" option being more annoying than effective (in my opinion). All in all, however, I am absolutely happy with this purchase and I think you will be too.
Some pros:
Picture quality is second to none. I use this mainly for streaming services, with a bit of gaming (ps5). I have never owned a nicer, more colorful, more responsive TV. For the price that the C3's are going for these days, it's worth it.
Also, the voice recognition/command features of this TV work well. You can connect your smart lighting and other smart home devices, and communicate through your TV, which has an "always on" mode you can enbale to listen for your voice ("Hey, LG"). You can turn on specific channels, turn on some or all of your lights, etc. So far it seems to work well.
Con:
The TV sound is a bit tinny, even with the AI Sound Pro setting. But, you can't expect to get much in the way of quality sound out of flat panel TVs, so not unexpected. Buy a decent sound bar.

I've found this OLED has good and bad points. It has amazing images and vibrant colors. HDR10 movies really pop and the built in speakers have great sound. The drawback is the images are dark and it is difficult to see detail in darker areas of the screen. I was surprised to find there is very little HDR content on regular TV, but there is some on YouTube and on higher premium cable. I am really looking forward to mostly using this OLED TV as a monitor for computer games when I get my new pc next week. I understand the LG C3 is especially good for this.

Use this for my ps5 and im very impressed!
No regrets. Worth every penny.
Colors are good. Picture quality is top notch.
Sound is loud and crisp. Ui is very customizable with moving apps and easy to navigate.
The only i con i think of is the remote. Is the scroll wheel. If you move it slightly, it automatically goes into pointer control. Which means you have to navigate the screen by pointing at the screen.
But its something you can overcome and adapt too. I got used to it after a month owning the tv.

Absolutely love this tv. I am an early adopter/big believer in OLED tech- love the color contrast and perfect black color.
Have a 65-inch 2018 LG OLED in the living room but with recently purchasing a PS5, thought it was time to step up to a 120 hz panel. Loved the fact this tv had 4 HDMI 2.1 (120hz ports)as compared to the Sony OLEDs. $999.99 is a fantastic price for this bright and crisp TV.

Absolutely stunning visual quality and easy setup! I am using this as a combination of my main monitor for my PC as well as the center piece of my media center for all gaming consoles and Chromecast. Going OLED will never be a mistake, the colors pop, the darker blacks really showcase the lacking quality of regulars led/lcd displays. Depending on how and where you set up your C3 TV, I would recommend a soundbar or sound system setup. Having mine on a desk, the speakers do lack a bit, but adding a sound system instantly fixed that up.

Amazing visuals and features such as GSync with 4K 120Hz true HDR with OLED and low latency response. It is truly as advertised. With the C3 the brightness has increased over the older C1 model but I have to tone it down since its too bright for sitting up close as a PC monitor. Using the C1 for years I do not sss ant burn-in issue with PC so I expect C3 to be the same or better. Another improvement is the faster start up and improved software to handle PC sleep and awake seamlessly. Overall it’s an excellent display and worthy buy!

I'm limited in space, but wanted a better (and slightly larger) picture. I upgraded from an older LED 40" to this OLEDevo 48" and mounted it on a strong wall arm mount. It's exactly what I was looking for. The picture quality is spectacular. Colors are vibrant and bright. Screen resolution is fabulous. Definitely a worthy upgrade to a roughly 10 year old LED TV! I should note I use a separate audio system, so I really can't evaluate the TV's own audio.

So to put into perspective I saw a sony Oled a few years ago and was amazed by the contract of the city skyline in store. I'm glad I went with a tv that had very dark blacks and a screen off option. This allows me to go to sleep with whats playing and not have my closed eyes seeing flashing of brighter things on screen. I almost got the 42 for my pc but glad i got the 48 as I have shifted to more xbox due to the aging of my 1080ti and am4 1700. One thing i would like to see if the pip had all the legal options to stream the console/pc and apps on the tv. I should add I'm coming from a 34% ultra wide alienware lcd from 2019 and 2008 and 2011 samsung and Vizio.

We bought this open box and honestly it was brand new and had every feature me and my partner were looking for in a tv. beautiful deep blacks and vibrant colors. we recently watched Godzilla and King Kong on there and it was amazing experience. Sound quality is great so a sound bar isn't exactly necessary but a nice bonus.
