I got this as a secondary monitor for my gaming pc as well as something good to watch movies and stuff on. I am utterly blown away with this thing. The picture quality is astonishing and it has all the great features of a gaming monitor as well. 4K 120hz, Freesync and Gsync, and Instant game mode. The WEb OS is pretty robust as well and works really well and fast. This is a no compromise tv for 2020-2021.

I bought this TV as a computer monitor for my gaming PC. Picture is perfect and TV delivers true blacks. There is plenty of technology inside of this TV to protect from screen burn in. Plenty of hdmi ports on the back for a PC, Earc enabled device like the Sonos arc, Roku and anything else you want to connect. The C1 is out now, but if those are unavailable, this is virtually identical.

No amount of words can state the Steller picture quality that comes from this TV. Everything from color to black levels are just phenomenal. Away from the picture side of things the menu is very easy to navigate, and there are many more options than I expected. I won't give a full play by play review as you can find those doing a websearch, but for me this is the best picture I have ever seen. Easy to recommend this.

It's a beautiful TV, great picture and colors from all angles which was very important to me to get in a 48 inch package. It has decent sound for what it is, but I plan on getting a soundbar down the line for it. Very pricey though and hard to justify such a high premium, especially for the 48 inch when the 55 is actually cheaper. That said, I don't regret it.

I chose this TV to replace my 24” RCA which I used for about 11 years. The color is crisp and beautiful and doesn’t have that overly-sharp look some TVs have. The colors are vibrant and true as well. My PS4 Pro is finally able to show what it can do in terms of graphics, lol. The 48” size is absolutely perfect for my room and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my choice.

Awesome computer monitor! No issues with older RTX2060 card after some research on how getting it to work. Absolutely zero issues with headaches or eye strain and the work area is phenomenal! I have used it for windowed gaming, sitting as far as I do is a struggle on fullscreen but have noticed no lag or issues vs. my 144hz screen.

Beautiful picture and very thin footprint. Also very easy to set up; although it is large enough that you need two people to lift it in place. I have it in a bookcase versus mounted on the wall. You can use the TV remote as a universal remote, which is very nice. It was not inexpensive, but I believe worth the cost - you get what you pay for.

Like a General Product Hull, this TV seemed invisible looking at it on edge. At least the upper half which is just screen. I mean like half dollar thin. Crazy, but also very susceptible to damage. Unbox with care. The lower half houses the components and connections that make the whole thing tick as well as mounting connections, which may raise the top of the screen compared to an existing wall mount TV. The plazma TV I replaced required lowering the wall mount brackets as my house has a low ceiling height where the TV is mounted. The picture is amazing. Cooler than the plazma, but there are modes to adjust temperature. However, even in gaming mode, the picture lagged, so I cannot recommend it for anything but casual gaming, where speed and accuracy are not tantamount, think walking sims, definitely not Call of Duty or DOTA. Setting it up did require some tweaks to get it right. It worked out of the box no issues, but my setup, not necessarily yours, defaulted the TV as the sound controller, not my pc sound card. As a result, when the TV went into power save, the Spotify list playing went silent as well. So, it is not necessarily plug and play, your results may vary, but setup wasn't much more than some experimenting and adjustments.

This is an awesome tv. Motion smoothing is awesome for anime. For movies, motion smoothing makes the actors real. I like motion smoothing but if you don’t you can disable or reduce it. There are a lot of picture settings so you can adjust it to your tastes. I have limited space and I’m glad I went with the 48 inch size for a desk. I purchased the 48 inch lg cx oled and the remote was dead right out of the sealed box. I picked it up in the morning and tried to set it up. At first I thought the tv might be broken. After doing a little digging online I thought that it could be just the remote that was bad. I had to hurry to work and I was able to call the store on my break. I was able to talk to a geek squad member and ask if they could verify that my remote was not working in store the next day and if they could get me another remote. I didn’t want to return the tv if it was just the remote because it took some time to set up properly. That night after work I was able to verify that the tv actually worked using an old universal remote I had laying around, which only had about 6 working buttons because of the old lg tv code. I went back to the store in the morning where they were able to test my remote on a floor model and verify that it was essentially dead. They were able to replace my remote with the same remote right there and I was able to fully test out the tv when I got back home. It was a bit of a ordeal but I’m satisfied with how it turned out. I would recommend Best Buy in the future in the future if anyone were to ask.

As critics have said, truly astonishing picture. Minimal setup/calibration was required in my room, but your mileage may vary. Overall webOS is adequate; however, it's missing some apps that you find on the other streamers. Unless you ONLY stream from Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu (for example, no HBO Max nor any of the individual channels like AMC, FX, or A&E), you will still need one of the competing streaming boxes out there. The upconversion from my 1080p cable set-top box isn't as amazing as I'd hoped. I ended up ordering a 4K box from my provider - otherwise there are too many screen artifacts that you do not see when streaming 4K content. The remote is a little too sensitive, but I like the fact that it learned how to control the TV, cable box, and my attached streamer without me having to enter any sync codes. Great product...needs more apps.

I absolutely love this Tv, I actually use it as a pc gaming monitor. It's high refresh rate and true blacks with no light bleed were exactly what I was looking for. If you plan on using this as a monitor be sure to get a HDMI 2.1 capable of 48Gbps, regular HDMI won't work.

This tv 48” and 77” I have now are just mind blowing. I fine tuned my picture settings to my perfect liking and applied them from my 77” and recently purchased 48” and the settings are perfect on both !! Oh wait , I purchased the 77” back in mid November 2020 and loved it sooooooo much I had to replace the other most used tv with the same CX, as the CX and the C1 are just about the same exact for the OS. I just installed the 48” the past weekend and all I can say is wow to both of them!! Perfect, and absolutely the best picture money can buy at a decent price ! Both sets look identical!! Stunning!! I use the newest Roku Ultra 4K with all my sets as I need them for the xfinity app. Wow wow wow great sets, get an extended warranty right from LG when you buy the set and get it, it’s cheap for an extra 2 years for a total of 3. I used the 24 month financing on both. I am going to go for a walk now then enjoy my stunning beautiful TV’s.

People, OLED and LG is the ONLY way to go. GREAT picture!! Easy to set up!! Yes, it's more expensive but DO NOT spend less on anything that is not OLED. (LG seems to live here) I have owned and enjoyed Samsung 4K for 3-4 years. NO Comparison. LG kicks it!!!!!!

Well worth the wait for this release. Had a size limit of 50 inches due to a fireplace mantel. However paired this with a mantel mount and the setup is absolutely amazing. This room is bright during the day and this TV still performs well. I love this oled and happy to not deal with blooming.

I really like this TV a lot. I have the best Geek Squad membership so they installed the unit with an upgraded Harmony and upgraded Sonos Sound Bar. While the TV is excellent, the fact that we had to throw the $200-plus Harmony away because it doesn't work well with this tv may have lowered the stars. But, because there are other chronic installation problems we have been living with for over a year, I think it was the Geek Squad installation and not the tv. (It was our 3rd Harmony, but works differently than the earlier versions, and doesn't have as good reviews.) This is our first LG and it really has a beautiful picture. If you've not had a high quality HD TV, this will knock your socks off! (Our permanent space is limited, so we were thrilled that LG came out with this size!) The TV audio must be supplemented with sound bar or speaker.

I read all the reviews - you get what you pay for. It's consistently rated at the top of available models and rightfully so. Very crisp, incredible blacks, easy to set up, works well with other equipment - don't need the universal remote for the apple tv and denon receiver.
