The one time I used the Internet on the smart tv, I couldn't get the video to play. I dont have cable or direct tv. I think the picture quality would probably be better if I did. I have tweaked the picture many time and have come to the conclusion that 4K is only as good as the video or show I'm watching.

Buy a warranty!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV at Best Buy on Black Friday because it was a great deal ($500!) and it worked great for about 20 days and then the screen freaked out. Best Buy wouldn't return it because it was past the 15 day window. LG put me in contact with a repair guy who told me that the part needed was on backorder for the next 3 weeks. Horrible customer service at LG with an obviously outsourced call center.

LG 4K Smart TV
