It doesn't provide a way to push audio out to an external device. That's right - no Aux / Optical (TOSLink) / HDMI (arc). Can't even use headphones. On top of that, the quality of operating manual is simply sad versus other TVs I own. This limitation initially prevented me from using a new soundbar. Found a workaround using my XBOX as it has the optical port for sound. I went directly from the XBOX to the soundbar via optical, and pushed the cable box signal through the XBOX to the TV via HDMI. XBOX effectively extracts the sound from HDMI, thus eliminating the need to purchase a signal/sound splitting device. Problem solved.
