Posted .Thank you for your review it is very important to us. I hate to hear that when using the remotes power button it takes a few times to get the television to turn on. I would suggest doing a power cycle on the remote. In order to do so you will need to take the batteries out of the remote and while the batteries are out press each button on the remote twice. Once you have completed, put the batteries back in the remote. This TV makes a terrible hum through my speakers. I tried different cables, different outlets, and noise suppressors. Nothing works. Than I tried a Samsung 49 " TV, and there was no humming noise. There is something wrong with the LG TV's that cause a loud humming noise through my speakers. I would not recommend this TV if you are hooking it up to a Home theatre system.
