Tv is worth for the money we spent on Thanksgiving Day. However when I compared with the sharp 55” inch 4K sold by Walmart this is not very superior. The sharp has better contrast, brightness compared to this one. Hence I ended up returning this one.

WOW!!! Awesome picture. Tv stand is a little shaky but the picture is beyond awesome

Definitely not one of LGs better electronics but it was cheap. Picture quality is fuzzy and not HD even on HD channels. “Smart” features are nice just wish picture was clearer.

Does not have a stand; perhaps next time open the box to see the TV first before purchasing; however the price was reasonable and I got over $200 discount off of the original price.

basicly good.please send the the screws that were listed in brosure. sound doesnt seem as good as my other lg tv 55" flat screen I have. not much documentation on the use of the smart tv.never owned one..useless without help.

We love this tv however the updates are starting to mess with our channels setup. The back button takes us to 1 which isn’t even a channel. It skips past many channels now too. I don’t like the updates.

Bought this TV on Black Friday - I was specifically looking for a smart tv with Ultra HD. The Ultra HD part is very good. However, the smart TV aspect is not worth buying this TV. About 50% percent of the time, apps like Hulu, Netflix and Amazon do not load. When this happens I am still able to watch the apps on my computer, so it is not Hulu or Netflix or my internet provider - it is the TV. When the apps don't load, there seems that nothing is to be done to fix it except wait for another day and hope it works. If I had known the smart TV part of this TV was so poor, I would have never bought it.

I purchased in Mov 2017- was mostly happy with the tv, until this week when it stopped connecting to WiFi. Just got off the phone with LG for tech support. They had me change settings, didn't work. They had me factory reset- it didn't work. There is only a 1 yr mfgr warranty so I called Best Buy to see how to arrange repair under the geek squad protection I purchased. Turns out- there is engineering end of life to the WiFi card (?) and there is no support. Which means you need to buy an external device like Roku to enable WiFi activity. Call me crazy, but shouldn't a tv less than 2 yrs old still have WiFi capability? Why would they build a tv that is smart for only 1 yr?

Legs are set too far apart and wouldn't fit on our tv stand, so had to return it and get different brand with more central base that fit on our stand.

This would be great for a bedroom or low lit room doesn't get as bright as other TV's the interface is the best in my opinion build quality could be better but can't beat an IPS display.

No ethernet only wifi, so if your wifi place in the living room and this tv place on the bedroom the internet on thos tv is so very slow

I excitedly purchased this new, supposedly decent (according to the salesperson at Best Buy) TV a month ago and within three weeks there were issues with the network connectivity. While watching Netflix the network stopped working and on further investigation, the TV was unable to find any WiFi to connect to. Thinking that it was an issue with my internet, I switched to my DVD player to see if Netflix would work via that route and it did, without issue. I thought that it was likely to be an isolated incident but it has now recurred three times in the last week. This issue and my displeasure has been compounded upon learning of Best Buy's atrocious 15 day return and exchange policy (not once was this mentioned in store before the TV was purchased). Their fantastic advise to helping me with this subpar product was to contact the manufacturer absolving themselves of all responsibility. I will see how LG approach rectifying this issue but needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with Best Buy's lack of customer service and will be extremely hesitant to use Best Buy for any future purchases.

Picture clarity is not the best. We got a good price on the 49” but we’re really disappointed in the quality. I would not purchase again.

TV has a beautiful picture, great sound, easy to set up & use....what more can you ask!

The TV base/holder broke after not even a year use. It sucks cuz I have to buy a new one which will cost me min. Of $100. Not happy!

You get what you pay for... even with LG. The pic is good. Sound ok. Very wobbly base and need WIDE base

I wanted to see what this tv was like but before I could hook it up I opened the box to a crack tv and to return it and get another one

The stand is a little wobbly for the weight of the tv but after a few adjustments it was ok. At the price overall it is a good purchase

Bought 3 of these for my kids during black Friday. They work for what they use it for but disappointed I can't install the Pandora app

Tv itself is very good. But if you are not mounting to the wall, the base seems very flimsy.
