Decent Buy

However when I compared with the sharp 55” inch 4K sold by Walmart this is not very superior. The sharp has better contrast, brightness compared to this one. Hence I ended up returning this one.

Cheap Tv

Not what I expected

missing screw claimed to be in box,sound isnt grea

Great tv

Smart TV a bust
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV on Black Friday - I was specifically looking for a smart tv with Ultra HD. The Ultra HD part is very good. However, the smart TV aspect is not worth buying this TV. About 50% percent of the time, apps like Hulu, Netflix and Amazon do not load. When this happens I am still able to watch the apps on my computer, so it is not Hulu or Netflix or my internet provider - it is the TV. When the apps don't load, there seems that nothing is to be done to fix it except wait for another day and hope it works. If I had known the smart TV part of this TV was so poor, I would have never bought it.

Buyer Beware- LG builds with obsolete parts

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased in Mov 2017- was mostly happy with the tv, until this week when it stopped connecting to WiFi. Just got off the phone with LG for tech support. They had me change settings, didn't work. They had me factory reset- it didn't work. There is only a 1 yr mfgr warranty so I called Best Buy to see how to arrange repair under the geek squad protection I purchased. Turns out- there is engineering end of life to the WiFi card (?) and there is no support. Which means you need to buy an external device like Roku to enable WiFi activity. Call me crazy, but shouldn't a tv less than 2 yrs old still have WiFi capability? Why would they build a tv that is smart for only 1 yr?

Slightly disappointed

Awful design, had issues within three weeks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I excitedly purchased this new, supposedly decent (according to the salesperson at Best Buy) TV a month ago and within three weeks there were issues with the network connectivity. While watching Netflix the network stopped working and on further investigation, the TV was unable to find any WiFi to connect to. Thinking that it was an issue with my internet, I switched to my DVD player to see if Netflix would work via that route and it did, without issue. I thought that it was likely to be an isolated incident but it has now recurred three times in the last week. This issue and my displeasure has been compounded upon learning of Best Buy's atrocious 15 day return and exchange policy (not once was this mentioned in store before the TV was purchased). Their fantastic advise to helping me with this subpar product was to contact the manufacturer absolving themselves of all responsibility. I will see how LG approach rectifying this issue but needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with Best Buy's lack of customer service and will be extremely hesitant to use Best Buy for any future purchases.

Tv base broken

Bad shipment
