This TV has a great picture, the sound is ok

That is very difficult to do. There are no clear directions, Are there adjustments for sound tone etc? We could not program the Direct TV remote so he would have only 1 control. The control that came with the TV seems very cheap and is to small for the number of buttons. Why does it need to be so complicated? We just wanted a TV.
