Speaking of LG's website, it comes in very handy when setting things up for the first time. Great price and picture once you wade through the menus and find the best setting for your location.

Cursor is so much easier than spacing to spell

It eliminates having to space through a keyboard to enter a word. Miss having this on our other TVs now!

LG 49" Nano 8 series

Great tv for a great price. The remote is pretty cool too. Are there better tvs out there, sure for hundreds of dollars more.

Set up difficult for novice.

Illustrations really poor. Seems to be intended to be installed by professionals at additional fee. Have several LG products and installed them with good documentation. Will work thru this with internet and U-tube help.

One of the few TVs made today with the stand in the middle of the TV

Great choice of tv for me

Also has usb connections which makes convenience for flash drive connection to view photos and home videos. The 20 amp speakers give excellent sound and ample volume.

Looks great on the wall. I feel that I made a very good choice with help from Best Buy! I still am unsure about the remote!

Build quality is high. Highly recommend. The interface is very polished and easy to use. I'm thankful to LG for keeping WebOS alive.

Good Overall TV

I bought this instead of the Samsung 8 series equivalent, because LG TVs play mp4 and avi videos without any special formatting. If you connect your LG TV to your local network, you can easily play these videos with minimal setup.

This is a great TV, however, I was hoping that I would be able to use the Pandora App on it but LG does not have that App available on this TV - Disappointed - Samsung does have the Pandora App.

Easy set up

It is also a very good size .

Excellent color saturation, clear picture, easily switches between cable services and streaming apps. Remote is a little quirky and takes a little practice to use.
