No better than good 1080p tvs

This tv is very easy to set up. The picture from the factory is lousy and dark no matter which mode you put it in except for the Vivid mode it is too light. I had to go to advance settings and change every individual setting to get an acceptable picture and you will have to change and adjust it several times to get it right. After you get it acceptable you will end up with a picture that is no better than a good 1080p tv--like my old Lg. that this one replaced. I have a 5 year old Toshiba 1080p that has a better picture. The picture has vivid colors when there is a close up scene but the background scenes sometimes looks slightly blurry and grainy. I attribute this to the Nano technology that has not been perfected yet. The internal speakers sound good and has good volume. Im giving this 2 stars because this tv is overrated and over priced for generally not being any better than a good 1080p tv. Im still considering taking this one back.

I can only change channels and am not able to turn cable box off and on with the magic remote. I was told by the geek squad that I had to use the magic remote to control the cable box and could not use the universal cable remote to control the TV. Still is not working properly.
