Average tv, limited apps
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is on par with all the other tvs but settings and top apps are very limited. I have a hisense and samsung that have a large enough selection you don't need an additional streaming device.

Dimmer than expected LG TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the tv baed on the recommendation that it was the best for gaming fir the value. However it was super dim and tough to see. I ended up switching it for a bigger Samsung tv.

Black lines after 6 months
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought 6 Months ago, the TV hasn't been moved or handled at all. It now has little black lines across the entire screen on every input & internal apps & I guess nothing can be done. I would not have paid over 600 for a TV knowing it would be ruined after 6 months. I bought this for Next gen gaming & now I will be stuck with my old cheap TV that has managed to lazy years longer than this. This is the last time I ever buy a big brand tv when the cheaper ones seem as good or even better.

Terrible bleed, Plex issues with audio.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible bleed on a black background. Plex fails to work with both the latest and beta versions on WebOS5. Lots of complaints about that with WEBOS on the Plex Forums. Missing audio, out of sync audio, wont transcode DTS with Plex. Fine, have a Roku hooked up, but that bleed was so bad I couldn't look at it another second. Anytime the Plex logo was on a black background the white halo ran from the top of the screen to the bottom. Really annoying when it would go to screensaver and the Plex logo would bounce around.

Close to greatness but one major flaw
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture quality and color but bad black uniformity and terrible dimming that causes backlight bleeding and really distracts from the rest of the experience.

Not to bad for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A little time consuming to get a good picture. I had to mess with too many adjustments to fine-tune the picture. Once I set it the picture was ok, but not great.

It’s ok tv
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s an ok tv, has a decent display but is kind of dark. The magic remote is kinda lame. LG does not support HBO app, so you will need to cast it from a mobile device or use a streaming device

Marginal picture quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV had marginal picture quality even with the built in webOS apps. Other 4K TVs seem to have better picture quality.

Poor sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv picture was great but the sound was terrible. I don't know if the speakers or the output was bad but the sound was distorted and garbled, very hard to understand what was being said. I tried connecting to a sound bar and that seemed to make it worse. I returned the tv. Hopefully this was a defective tv and others may not be affected. My last tv was an lg and it had great sound and picture.

4K@120Hz problem with Xbox One and eARC limits
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product at the price, but I assigned it to one star because I would like to get attention and answers from LG with the following issues I observed so far. 1) It claims that the HDMI inputs 2 and 4 are HDMI 2.1 can support 4K@120Hz, but when I used my Xbox One, Xbox One can only provide 1440P@120Hz, saying the display doesn't support 4K@120Hz. Is this an Xbox One problem? Is anyone able to send a 4K@120Hz video to it? 2) eARC function problems: So far, I have verified that the eARC port HDMI #3 can support Dolby Atmos, TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, PCM 2CH; but it does not support PCM 5.1/7.1 and DTS HD MA. It was reported that other LG models have PCM 5.1/7.1 problems, and LG has provided a software update to fix this issue. Basically, the current eARC port can support all the audio formats supported by the internal TV speakers but does not support additional audio formats available from the external eARC AVR connected to the eARC port. Is there anyone who can confirm my observation? Will LG provide a firmware update to fix these problems?

Terrible Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to keep the volume almost at max to hear the TV if I leave the room and the sound still does not transmit farther. I was told to buy an external speaker as the focus with the manufacturer is on the picture and not the sound. I did not find the picture to be anything spectacular.

Horizontal lines after a year!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After more than just a year of use, horizontal lines popped up all suddenly. Never in my life had I experienced a fundamental problem like this with TVs that I've owned. You could take all the PROS of this device or LG tvs and throw them out the window if they just last over a year. Whether it's Poor quality components or poor quality control, it's unacceptable. Service is also poor, considering that I need to contact myself, a third-party store that does LG repair. No direct repair service provided by LG (even that might be using service through contracts, but it's still within their own credible service). If they mess up the repair - LG doesn't have to care about a thing. How convenient.

Worst tv on the market possibly
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy this TV. Picture quality is insanely terrible. Blacks are more like grey and you can see the led lights bleeding in all areas while watching movies. Avoid at all costs
