I got LG because thought it would match better to the LG TV. I had surround before, but it was hard wired and much better.

Flakey HDMI eARC

I've tried a couple different 2.1 HDMI cables with the same result. Connection is flakey. Works great with optical input, but I need the HDMI. So it's going to get returned.

When installers arrived to place TV and surround system we were told the rear speakers were wired together which would I fact not work for us. They took the surround system back with them. Very disappointed!

sound system not as expected

This did not work for me description should be more clear

The LG S70TR soundbar system features a wireless subwoofer and wireless rear speakers that connect wirelessly to the main soundbar unit. However, it's important to clarify that while the rear speakers communicate wirelessly with the soundbar, the two individual rear speakers themselves are connected to each other by a speaker wire, and one of these rear speakers needs to be plugged into a power outlet. This design minimizes the number of wires running from the soundbar to the rear of your room, offering more flexibility in placement compared to systems with fully wired rear speakers.
