This soundbar overall does a nice job with a variety of content but although it is nearly 5 feet long, the soundstage is very narrow and can sound a bit muffled at times. You also have to play with the settings constantly in order to balance it out to your liking. The bar can get very loud! Probably louder than anything I’ve owned.

I expected more from this, especially having Dolby atmos in it. But the feature (at least on here) did not impress me, nor did it sound as good as i expected. Also the subwoofer wasn't nearly as loud as i was hoping for. I returned it & sprung for the BOSE soundbar. Way better choice.

I purchased a 65 inch LG flatscreen so I wanted to upgrade its cinema feel so purchased this Atmos LG soundbar. I was hoping for better sound considering I was impressed going to the movie theatre and experiencing Dolby Atmos. It def did not cross over to this particular sound bar.

The SL10YG was mediocre in terms of sound quality especially for something in this price range and the sub had a lot of very harsh distortion. The soundbar itself could get loud but overall sounded quite thin and wasn't all too impressive in terms of sound quality compared to another soundbar in the same price range that I have from a different manufacturer. The build quality was nice though and was solid with a nice fit and finish. The sub's sound quality unfortunately lacked weight / punch even with the gain set to max and was also quite sensitive to interference from other devices like a wireless router I had that was around 10 feet away. This caused it to have some pretty harsh distortion and I gave up on it after about a week of moving it around to different spots in the room.

In the store the sound blew us away! At home, its sort of meh.

When we upgraded to a new tv, we also upgraded to a better sound system. This sound bar makes the movie we’re watching feel like we’re at a movie theater. Guys who installed tv and sound bar and set up we’re quick and got everything up and running in about 30 minutes.

This is great of product so far. We have used this on a very limited basis.

I bought this soundbar to go with my LG Oled TV first issue I had with this bar is that it sounds flat and the subwoofer has no real punch. The connectivity was good overall. It has an off center display which is fine but only goes dim does not completely go dark very distracting when watching movies in the dark. The template that comes with this is in two pieces and way too large to get it on the wall and level without a hassle. Then once you get it on the brackets the soundbar is too heavy for it and it leans forward not to mention how much it sticks out from the wall compared to the OLED tv which is super thin. It just looked ridiculous. Overall it’s a decent soundbar but not worth the near $1000 price tag. I swapped it out for a Samsung q90r soundbar and it’s night and day different. Especially when it comes to Dolby Atmos content.

Bought this particular model because it puts out high power. Compared to Samsung.

I bought this soundbar with high hopes. I got it home and hooked it up with the LG rear speakers. I was really excited. It sounded great for the first few days. Fast forward 2 weeks and now the sub woofer continually goes in and out. The sub is less than 1 feet away from the sound bar. The LG rear speakers communicate with the sub, so when the sub goes out the rear speakers go out as well. Tried listening to music over the weekend and it was terrible. One second you hear the bass, the next the music was flat. For this price point I expect better. I'm going back to the JBL 5.1 system for now. I will eventually build my own system when stores actually open back up.

This soundbar system is excellent. Purchased it for the Dolby Atmos feature and Avengers Endgame movie is perfect pairing. I also purchased the surround speakers. Excellent

Replaced a Yamaha surround bar. Really happy with this LG purchase

Great Sound but has issues powering on at same time as my oled tv.

So the bar may be fine, but we went to install and you have to provide your own wall anchors and screws. Seems simple enough, but it was a surprise and a huge pain in the butt. Bar may be fine, bu the missing screws was a huge disappointment after spending so much on an LG system.

Very expensive sound bar for it to last only about a year. Save your money it’s a piece of crap. I bought this thing about a year ago and it seems to have worked up until tonight. The subwoofer I’m not sure has ever worked right. Now it will run for about 20 min and turn itself off on its own and have to manually turn it back on. Won’t be buying another LG sound bar ever again. LG how can you charge so much money for such a piece of crap!

Excellent experience purchasing at Best Buy, especially for online --> same day in store pickup. Seamlessly works with LG TV.

This thing sounds phenomenal. The depth, and clarity is unreal. Don’t be cheap. If you love music, and enjoy watching movies, this is the best money you will spend in 2020.
