Not so sure about the surround sound effects but the frontal and side sounds are great. Bass is very effective. On a sad note.....the wireless rear speakers that I purchased later will be on their way to the landfill very soon. Pathetically weak.

It turns his man cave into the best movie room. We have had a few Samsung sound systems in the past and I’m not a fan.

Sound Fills the Room

I am absolutely amazed by how the sound quality immerses you in a movie. Even the audio of basic cable shows are enhanced by this sound bar. My husband and I found it to be easily set up. One of the features I love is that you can power on the sound bar as well as control the volume using the power and volume buttons on our universal TV/cable remote. In my opinion this is a big plus. We have another sound bar that requires us to use its remote to turn on and control the volume. I prefer having just one remote control everything. No looking for a second remote! And of course there is Google Assistant that is built-in that allows you to search Google, and if you have compatible smart devices allows control of these devices as well. The design of the bar is fairly sleek for how powerful sounding the audio is coming out of the speakers. It’s a long bar, which is not an issue unless you are looking for something shorter and more compact. A wireless subwoofer is included for added audio emphasis so that you “feel” the sound coming through. Overall this is a powerful sound bar and I 100% recommend it.
