I read the reviews about poor center channel performance and thought it was just a few people being picky but reviews were spot on. In standard mode watching normal TV its average at best but when you switch to cinema mode and try to watch a action movie, all the voices are drowned out by action sequence. I went through all the modes and tried adjusting bass, treble, center, ovc and rear without success. I talked with LG tech support and they didn't sound surprised with my issue and advised to me to make sure all updates are completed. I performed recent update and still no change. I exchanged this for Sonos sound bar and what a difference. Dont waste your time and money on the LG. The review of this product by YourMainDude is spot on.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this to go with my new LG tv I purchased the same day. The tv is as good as I would expect. The soundbar is a severe disappointment. Now I will start my rant. Got the soundbar home and immediately noticed it was not near as loud as my previous one. The voices were extremely hard to make out and the sub was weak to say the best. Now that may be me being picky but this was expensive. Then the real issues started. The sub disconnects about every 30 seconds. As well do the wireless rear speakers. The sub pops when watching at a higher volume level witch you have to do to hear it. The “surround sound” is weak at best. I sometimes comes on and I I’ll not display on the tv so I have to restart the soundbar. I have contacted LG customer support and have been given the run around. Save yourself the time and money and headaches.
