Geek squad said it a communication problem in the e-arc software, that replacing it may not solve the issue. Hopefully a software update in the near future will fix this issue.

I thought that, being its an LG bar with an LG TV, I'll get the best performance possible. Nope. I tweaked the setting about a thousand different ways, but just couldn't coax out a sound I was happy with. The low mids were lacking. The center channel was strong, but it never projected anything to the sides like my Polk S2 does. The surround effect is cheesy and also had to get jogged up and down without. All in all, I never felt truly immersed. I felt like I was constantly battling the bar to improve speech intelligibility and have a natural sound and it simply wouldn't deliver. I replaced it with a Polk Signa S2 and have zero regrets.

Horrible hum and feedback

Needless to say I was excited. UNFORTUNATELY this system was trash. Rear speakers barely have audio & Once I changed the sound mode to cinema…. this loud feedback entered the sub and sound bar! Only way to remove it was to lower the volume to 34… whats the point of that?!? I called LG twice to try to resolve… no fix. So I returned it. My old vizio works BEAUTIFULLY with my new LG TV… much louder and rear speakers I can actually hear the background. Do not buy!
