Really nice sounding soundbar with Dolby Atmos and hifi sound streaming for music. This would work well in a large sized room as well as long as your ceiling isn't too high. Have it set up with my c1 and it's amazing.

Excellent sound. It would be perfect if the manufacturer had included the mounting screws. According to the company, this is their policy.

Installed this in our bedroom, and the sound quality is amazing. We added the wireless rear channel to the setup to complete the experience, but even without it the sound is crystal clear.

Absolutely love this sound bar. Due to the mesh system and the way I have the house set up, it was a little difficult getting it wirelessly connected to the LG Soundbar App. I had to download Google Home on my iPhone and let it share the wifi password that way. Apparently, that is a fairly common problem. The only reason I wanted the app accessibility is so that it would calibrate itself by playing sounds. Pairs very nicely with my LG C1. I ran eArc from TV to eArc Soundbar. I ran both Xbox Series X and Apple TV 4k into the back of the TV. Once I enabled "pass-through", the soundbar plays both Xbox and apple tv content in Atmos.

I first bought this unit in 2021. Ten months later, the subwoofer stopped powering on. Geek squad sent it back and due to the extensive wait time and thinking it was lost in the mail, they replaced it with a new one. The sound quality is excellent and it gets too loud to listen to comfortably. I would recommend this unit but cannot vouch for the reliability of it.

Purchased this item open box. So I paid over half off the original price. Item was still in great shape. All though the room it's in is not ideal, still sounds great. Highly recommend.

Better than expected sound. Does a great job with atmos signals, but not the best with overall 5.1 signal performance.

2 years later it has help up. Its a greay sound bar and the sound it pushes out sounds great

The LG SP9YA sound bar, is good not great, for most people its the best thing out there for the money. Its great if you own a LG TV. Setup is nice and easy.

I'll preface this with I am not an audiophile, it is my first soundbar, and my expectations may be unrealistic. This is a huge step up from TV speakers but also a pretty big step down from a traditional 5.1 system. I purchased this to make my wife happy (less speakers). I came from a pretty simple, old (10 yr old receiver, 10-20 year old speakers), unmatched, but decent quality, 5.1 system. This will not replace that sound unfortunately. I previously only used the 5.1 system when watching movies. I do like how this doesn't overpower the room with sound when watching something less intense. When I first set it up, it sounded like small speakers in a metal box. Luckily it has a basic EQ, and an optimizer setting (plays sample sounds to learn the room) which has helped and I think it may require more breaking in. Music does sound good from it. The room I have it in is not shaped evenly and has a vaulted ceiling which isn't helping anything. If you are just trying to add better sound than your TV, or listen to music through something other than an echo, I think it will work very well but expecting it to replace big speakers isn't realistic. I will probably keep this, but with a little hesitancy and look at adding the rear speakers if I can discreetly find a place for them. I wish there was a maybe selection for recommending.

This has been a huge step up for our audio quality. Looks good when mounted below the tv. Maybe, in time, we’ll get the 2 rear mounted speakers for a full on surround experience.
