This soundbar has great sound, and when you pair it with the rear speakers, oh boy! It's too bad the setup is completely worthless because you spend so much time just trying to get the system to connect with each other or the TV. I spent more time trying to reset this sound bar and connect than actually using it so far.

Great quality great sound just having a problem with the settings

Had this soundbar for over a year bought the rear speaker kit for it and enjoyed this setup for about the first 10 months. Then came the problems i had this soundbar hooked up to a sony a80k and this sound bar would have drop out issues to start when changing inputs i would lose sound all together and would have to restart everything to get it to work right. Then i had an issue with the center channel on this soundbar it would randomly be making clicking sounds and made the audio sounded muffled thought it was me at first but after trying to watch multiple movies I new something was wrong. I had purchased the geek squad 4 year warranty luckily so i took it in explained the problem and they had to ship it out to their service center to diagnose the issue two weeks later i get it back and they found no fault which was frustrating because I live 60 miles to the nearest best buy. I was told there was no fault and to re calibrate the soundbar in which i did and within two minutes the center channel was clicking again so I had to make another appointment to take this in to geek squad again this time thou I took multiple video clips showing the issue i was having.After showing Geek squad the video clips I made they then decided to let me do a exchange. Exchanged for a Samsung Q930D with a geek squad warranty. Now im able to enjoy my movies again.

I love my LG 5.1.3 channel soundbar! It has wonderful sound!

This review could be premature as I have only had this item for one day and i am contemplating returning it. I previously had the LG SN6Y and the Subwoofer stopped working. I purchased this hoping it would be drastically better but in all reality it is only marginally better. I do like the LG Soundbar App and the fact that I can connect this over wifi but as far as features go, that is about the only inprovement i see over my old setup. The soundbar is much larger but doesnt sound much different than my last one. Keep in mind this is a $1200 soundbar and my last one was about $400 so I expected more. When I listen to music via Bluetooth at max volume, I really dont feel like the volume gets very loud. The subwoofer alone is only 40 watts RMS. Sound is good but so is my $200 Samsung soundbar on another tv. Waiting to see why this one is so expensive. Have not been able to justify the purchase as of yet. Build quality is good. Sound quality is good. Nothing on this system is great... yet. I will give it some time to confirm.
