Don't like have to turn higher to get the overall power

DIDN'T WORK AS IT WAS INTENDED FOR. TOOK IT BACK & PURCHASED A DIFFERENT DEVICE, & VERY HAPPY THAT ONE

Best Buy sucks!!!!! Will Never buy anything from them again. Now I know why the are going bankrupt.

I sat there for hours trying to get the back speakers to pair with the sound bar. I will never buy another LG product again.

Returned.Very poor sound. Only sounded slightly better than the speakers in the TV.

Not what I expected in sound for the price install was hard

The design of the soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speakers are very minimal. They're not the most attractive, in my opinion, but they get they job done. I do appreciate that the subwoofer is not super boxy, so it fits better in my home compared to a larger, more square design of a previous product that I owned. With that said, given the size of the subwoofer, you're not going to shake the house with sound. This is meant for smaller homes or spaces. Included in the box was a wall mounting template and hardware for the soundbar, which I did not need or use, but it's there if you need it. The rear speakers were a bit larger than I expected. While advertised as wireless, it still requires some tethering to each other. One side must connect to power and the other connects via an audio cable. This is common with other "wireless" rear speaker setups. The only difference is there is no need for a separate device that the two speakers would need to plug into. These two communicate to the soundbar on their own. I don't know if it's groundbreaking, but there you have it. The soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speakers as a complete system sound great. In fact, they sound better than I expected, given this product's price point. It will fill most small apartments or condos, small living rooms or game rooms, or even bedrooms with adequate sound. If you have a large home or even a large media room and require lots of EQ customizations and more options, this will certainly be a disappointing buy for you. I feel like, given the size of the actual sound bar and rear speakers, I would expect more of a punch. Connecting other devices via the Bluetooth option was a breeze and sounded great. I tried it with my iPhone, iPad, and even laptop. There were no issues playing music from any of my devices. I wish there were more connectivity options like Apple AirPlay that you would find with other soundbars. Overall, I think this soundbar set is a great option for someone who is looking for a surround sound option in a small living room or bedroom. While it is a no-frills option, it still provides great sound and ample bass for filling a room with substantial sound, given its price range.

This is one of the easiest to set up sound bars that I have had so far even with having to download an app for it to my phone which in all actual fact made it even easier to set up! So far I have had no issues what so ever with it working with the Fire TV I have even with the updates that Amazon sends out which with my last sound bar kept knocking the setting off for it why I could never figure out which kind of upset the apple cart so to speak with having to redo the setting on it at least once a week just to get it to have sound. The only con that I see with this LG sound bar is when using the app you do have to do a full restart of your TV for it to get sound and that even being a con is still a major improvement to having to sit down and redo the settings completely on the TV just to get sound so it's actually a con and a pro at the same time and something I personally think that anyone can live with I know I can. The sound on this one with the two satellite speakers and the Sub woofer being wireless it sounds awesome the only wire to it are the 3 plugs for the electric to power the system and a speaker wire between the two satellites so you can put them where you wish it does also come with an hdmi patch cord and one for optical from your TV to the bar which the others I have had only came with the Hdmi which brings me up to the only other con that I found and find to be a major one the optical patch cord is way to short in my opinion as it doesn't reach to the plug in slot on my TV and with that in mind for anyone who would or want to get this System you might wish to buy another optical patch cord if you use that for sound quality. Other than that and the one I mention before that's both a pro/con the pros being ease of set up, sounding awesome and the app this is a 100% get for anyone who's looking to get an inexpensive sound bar that sounds great this is it

This is great little soundbar with big sound. The installation is pretty straight forward, but read the one page directions to determine what order to power everything up so it all connects. The rear speakers are wireless in that they connect to the soundbar wirelessly but they do themselves need to be connected by speaker wire as only one of them then needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Not a deal breaker but good to know up front if you are looking for truly wireless rear surrounds. The LG app is sunsetting on 8-2024 according to LG and being replaced by the LG ThinQ app, which I hope has the same basic functionality because I like the current app. You have the ability to let the soundbar choose for you or tweak it by adjusting the EQ yourself. I appreciate the night setting which allows you to tone it down while still having audio clean and clear so you aren't shaking the house at 1:00 AM but still get a decent punch where you would expect. My go to movie test is Top Gun, the original, but for the sake of Dolby I also play the new one. This produces great dialogue and base. The surround makes the whole thing worth it IMHO. You have flexible connection options with HDMI, bluetooth and optical choices and at a great price point, great system, I would recommend.

TLDR: Model S60TR: A 5.1 Dolby Digital, DTS Digital Surround soundbar for TVs with 4 pieces including a wireless rear subwoofer and two other satellite speakers which are connected wirelessly but have a wired connection to each Left/Right speaker (a hybrid). Adds deeper, richer and clearer sound to modern TVs which typically have tiny speakers to produce thinner TVs. Improves movie dialogue when sound effects/music makes it difficult to understand dialogue. Bluetooth ready, remote control, app enabled, wall mountable, reasonably priced, 440 watts per LG. Upon opening the box the 4 speaker components, power and analog cables, the remote with batteries and an optical cable are seen together with a quick install sheet allowing a speedy setup for your TV. I had no trouble connecting the four pieces wirelessly and making the connection to the TV using an optical cable from the TV to the soundbar (included) by following the brief and simple instructions on the install sheet. As stated above, LG includes a remote control in the box with this soundbar. It includes the hardware and screws for mounting the soundbar on a wall below the TV and the 2 satellite speakers include threaded back screw holes on the housings for using them with floor stands (not included). Note: I have an LG QNED TV from 2023. My LG TV remote also controls the soundbar sound level. LG calls this compatibility the “WOW Interface” and says “Adjust the volume and audio settings, check the connection status and even select a sound mode on the screen, all from the TV remote.” Note: Connecting an HDMI cable (not included) from the TV HDMI ARC port to the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar enables utilizing the TV remote for a few more features on the soundbar. This feature is pictured on the quick install sheet. An Owners Manual is online on the LG website for further information. In Use: I particularly liked the soundbar app which allowed adjusting a 3-band equalizer for bass, treble and mid-range frequency settings to tailor the sound to both the user’s liking and the particular room acoustics. I particularly like a high treble level and high mid-range level to accentuate spoken dialogue for both movies and TV and this is easily done using the app settings. The sound is clear and can blast very loudly if desired; of course someone in your household will let you know it is too loud when not enjoying the movie/TV with you! Using this soundbar we all enjoyed the increased volume, clarity of dialogue and the music in movies, TV shows and even documentaries, news reports, and endless TV discussion shows. A soundbar has become an almost required purchase due to the TV industry slimming down their TVs and designing the TV speakers to be smaller and smaller.

I’ve come to appreciate less cables when setting up my TVs, computers, and speakers. Maybe one day we will be close to complete wireless connections, and this soundboard is almost there, but users should know that although there is no special receiver needed, you do need to have to connect a cable from the rear speaker to the other rear speaker. I almost wish this came with a built-in receiver on each individual speaker so I didn’t have to connect a cable, but then again it would need to plug-in to the wall. All to say, I still love this soundbar and the way it sounds, but I still need to hide the small cable connecting the speakers behind my couch, but I wish I didn’t have to do this. Here is a quick breakdown and rating of my favorite features of this soundbar: 5.1ch Ultimate Sound – 5/5– Excellent sound. I am impressed with the quality sound in movies, news channels, and gaming. I don’t have an LG TV, but this paired up with my TV no problem. Sound Bar Design 5/5 – Subtle, black on black. If it’s not broke don’t fix it. I do think the rear speakers are a little bigger than what I was expecting, but again one of them has a built-in receiver, so I get the need for the size. Built Quality – 4/5 – Good quality overall. Subwoofer and rear speakers feel good. I do worry about the mesh on them losing color over time or coming loose. Audio Profiles – 5/5 – AI Sound Pro, Clear Voice Pro, Standard, Sports, Music, Game, Cinema, Bass Blast. Good options for all clients of listening preference. Setting Up – Super easy. The fact that there is no receiver, it simplified the process. All in all, I highly recommend this sound bar. If you have an LG TV this is a no brainer, but I will say that even for someone without a LG TV (me), this is still a great sound bar! Makes movie watching more enjoyable!

I would call it Average PLUS, so very close to "GOOD" (3.75 stars) if we want to be specific. The reason, for $200 is a very powerful system, convenience of wireless rear speakers that work great, an and many options to calibrate your sound/app calibration. With that said, I feel it has a bit of a muddy sound, no matter how much I tweak the sound. I've been playing with a bit more and it seems it's sounding better once ou calibrate the system and whatever output device you use as well, (a.k.a your phone settings). It's very loud and the bass is amazing, that's for sure. If you grab this on sale and are not particularly an audiophile, then you are getting what you pay for/your money's worth. Wish it had some sort of display instead of lights/voice to change your settings, but like I said, using the app solves that problem since you can see all settings there. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

This was an exchange for a poor quality Samsung. This LG has much better sound (you can actually hear this one). Great for only $50 price difference.

We have been meaning to upgrade the sound in our spare bedroom and thought this would be a good choice. Out of the box is everything you need to get going: 5.1-Channel Soundbar, Remote with 2 AA batteries, Optical and rear speaker cable, and a Wall Mount Bracket. The nice thing about a set up like this is you can easily place all the components where ever you want. The sound bar, Sub-woofer and one of the rear speakers are plugged into the wall for power. You then connect the second rear speaker to the first with the rear speaker cable. This cable has bare ends - no plug which attach with clips. This is great because in the event you need a longer cable you can substitute with a suitable conductor and not worry about some sort of proprietary plug to supply power. In my case the included cable was plenty long. Download the app and then pair the components to each other. Then you can connect to whatever sound sources you want. My computer is connected with blue tooth and the TV with the included optical cable. You can also use HDMI as well. Now the fun begins. Truly this is a pleasure listening to for music, movies, and gaming. Full rich crisp responsive sound. This unit is a great value and in my opinion sounds better than units costing considerably more.

I bought this LG Sound bar thinking seamless integration with my new LG B4 TV. NO SORRY LG Magic Remote doesnt pair. Of coarse I find this out after the purchase. I believe my older Polk (same price range comparatively speaking) sound bar may have deeper bass and overall better sound, that I have paired with my older LG tv. Yet the surround effect and the control of adjustments on the LG sound bar remote works well for fine tuning. Not completely satisfied with this sound bar but a good value. Recommending only for that reason.

The overall quality of this sound system is quite good. I would have like a start up manual that includes how to use the remote.

This surround sound system has ok sound (only a slight improvement from my LG tv internal speakers) the setup was average on the difficulty scale, but the connections and switching/controls are difficult. The speaker comes with the center, subwoofer, two rear speakers, power cords for the center speaker, subwoofer and rear speaker, remote w/ batteries, ARC & optical cables. The install directions are ok, but not very clear. The options for optical, bluetooth, and other connection types are all provided along with the app setup, but it's not clear which are required for setup. So to help, for the tv setup you can use the optical, ARC, HDMI, or USB, you do not need the bluetooth and app (but I'd recommend the app-see later). The system is mostly wireless but not completely. You will need power for the center speaker, the subwoofer, and one of the rear speakers. The rear speakers must be connected with the provided speaker wire. The center speaker will need a wired connection to your TV, (bluetooth for other devices-phone, tablet, etc) The center speaker connects wirelessly to the subwoofer and rear speakers when all are plugged in and powered up. There are a few control buttons on top of the center speaker for control w/o the remote; Power, Input, Volume, Bluetooth. My main issues are as follows: there is no display to see the volume level, connection type etc (only lights that you will have to memorize which color or number of them means) The remote controls=-overrides all my LG devices (bluray player, tv) Whenever my bluray player comes on it changes the TV input off whatever I was watching. My LG tv has optical and optical+tv speakers. The optical+tv has an echo sound so I use Optical or TV internal but have to switch back and forth with the tv remote because the soundbar remote doesn't control the tv speaker output. When I switch to Optical, the tv and xfinity remote will no longer control the speakers. So I need at least 2-3 remotes to control the sound and tv channel. They need to find a way to sync the remotes better to keep from all the remote switching needs.

Very good quality speaker set for the price. Easy set up and paired with my LG TV easily.
