The sub woofer is indeed wireless and there is no wire between the base and the rear speakers. However, the rear speakers have to be connected by a wire. I did not understand that until I started set up and connecting them was not possible given the configuration of the room. Had this requirement been disclosed, I would have purchased a different product. I went back and reviewed the product information on the Best Buy website and there is no indication that the rear speakers need to be wired together. Less than honest.

The rear speakers do connect to a wireless receiver module, which still requires the speakers to be physically wired to that module for power and signal. I’ve listened to it and I think it sounds flat, the bass is weak too, but I’m comparing it to my Sonos system at home Also the surround speakers need to be plugged in to the outlet- the old one the just connected to the sub

Feels like you have to enter a special code every time you want to tweak the surround sound or mids highs and the sub. Sub doesn’t have much depth as my ten year old Polk magnifi. Happy for the open box price

Pros: audio capabilities, app controls, AI sound effects, design. Cons: base levels are inconsistent, HDMI ARC never auto connects to my Sony TV (i have to switch between sources every time)
