Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.have had a few LG products in the past with 50/50 sucsess , purchased this item as it was the only one they had in stock the day i was there in this price range. just out of warranty and the rear speakers stopped powering on and tech support is of no help. i would understand if it were months out of warranty but it is only a few weeks. just me but i feel like helping out a customer would be better that receiving bad reviews and losing a customer. but oh well......shoulda bought samsung

To restore power and connectivity to your rear speakers, (1) reset the wireless connection. Unplug the soundbar and the wireless receiver for at least one minute. First, plug in the wireless receiver and wait for the LED to blink, (2) then plug in the soundbar. (3) If the speakers don’t pair automatically, press the Pairing button on the wireless receiver with a small object like a paperclip. The remote is not super helpful to figure out what settings it’s on instead of bringing up a menu to choose from it blur out the setting every time you change something and the remotes doesn’t do a good job simplify that so you use the app instead but every time you want to connect to the sound bar, you have to do it through Bluetooth and if you’re watching something, it removes it off the HDMI input and puts it into Bluetooth mode. I tried so many different settings when watching a movie to see, which is the best one, but honestly, it just lacks the sound quality overall, and the subwoofers is lacking as well. I kept it over the 15 days so I wasn’t able to return it, but will never buy an LG sound bar if this is the standard.

We also understand your concern about the app switching input to Bluetooth. While the app is designed to connect via Bluetooth, controlling settings through the app should not typically switch your input from HDMI unless you are specifically trying to stream audio via Bluetooth.
