    Good Entry Level Bar

As long as you remember this is an entry level sound bar, you'll be happy. The surround works well, overall easy to hook up. Take the extra minute to adjust the sound levels in the app or using the remote, the sub/bass will sound better. Good upgrade for those that want a little more depth and volume from their entry/mid level TV.

Pretty decent for an entry level 5.1 setup

This is a pretty good setup to get surround sound in a small to medium sized room. Setting it up was fairly simple, but I install AV equipment for a living so I’m biased. It’s as simple as connecting everything and getting the app on your phone. The app is okay, it would be nice to have more in depth audio tweaking options but it has enough to get by. It has presets for basic scenes; movies, games, that sort of thing. Which is nice and can be actuated through the remote instead of the app if you prefer. Like other people have said, the rear speakers are partially wireless. There is a connection between both of them and one requires power. The signal to the soundbar from there is wireless however. If you’re cool with that, then I’d recommend the system. I got this with the pretense if I hated it, I would return it. I was impressed and I think I’ll keep it at this point. I have it in an apartment and the sound level is totally fine for that environment. There is a night mode option if you wanted it quieter, as well as bass boost if you want it to thump.

I found out that the rear speakers are wired; I could/did not see that in the description. Regardless of that, I installed it and tried to a high volume and it works fine, I liked the sound. However, I need a wireless rear speakers so I will return it.

Pros: Quality and appearance of unit Size of product components Sound output Cons: Lack in clarity of operation displays ( would rather see component name and operational values as compared to colored leds and voice response) Although unit is connected to an LG tv which is compatible, still have direct connection of tv and soundbar at times . Using HDMI arc as source) Overall, this product is good,The problem is that even though physical connection is easy, actual interfacing with tv leaves room for doubt. i.e. frequency adjustment of speakers, when making changes there is not a clear distinction if frequency levels actually adjust. I recommend on the merits of the product rather than its clarity in delivering details of its functional operation.

I’m impressed. The audio quality is crisp with good mids and highs, and the bass is surprisingly deep for speakers in this price range. Setup was easy, especially with Bluetooth pairing, and the build feels durable. They’re perfect for casual music listening or boosting your TV sound without breaking the bank. While audiophiles might want more advanced features, for everyday use, these speakers deliver great value.

I purchased the LG S60TR 5.1-channel soundbar system and overall it is a good product. The setup was easy, the wireless subwoofer and rear speakers are a nice addition, and the sound quality is much better than a standard TV speaker. Dialogue is clear, the bass adds a nice impact to movies, and the Dolby Audio experience makes watching shows and movies more enjoyable. I ended up returning it because I was looking for a more powerful and immersive home theater experience, especially for music and a more cinematic surround sound feel. For everyday TV watching, streaming, and casual movie nights, this system performs well and offers good value. I’m giving it 4 stars because it is a solid soundbar system, but it just wasn’t the level of immersive audio experience I was personally looking for.

The salesman convinced me to buy the Samsung 3.1 soundbar and that it would provide a quality sound better than the LG 5.1. He was 100% WRONG. Yes, the Samsung's was a clear sound with good base but I told him that I wanted to be in the middle of the action and actually feel like I was in the stands watching a game or hearing sounds from the action of a drama cross behind and around me. That's what this LG system provides. It's great. Also, when I'm not watching television, I turn on youtube and listen to tunes and the sound is incredible. I'll turn the rear speakers towards the kitchen and here great music there and throughout the house. For affordable great listening, this is the system to buy.

’m very happy with the LG S60TR home theater soundbar. The setup was quick and easy, and the sound quality is excellent. The wireless subwoofer delivers powerful bass, while the rear speakers create an immersive surround-sound experience. What impressed me most is how much it improves the movie-watching experience. Dialogue is clear, action scenes sound powerful, and the rear speakers make you feel like you are in a theater. Overall, this is a great home theater system for the price, and I would definitely recommend it.

I’m really impressed with the quality of this soundbar. The sound is clear and powerful, and the bass really hits — it gives a true deep, rich feel when watching movies or playing music. The 3D audio effect makes everything feel more immersive, not flat like regular TV speakers. Pairing it with my Bluetooth device was quick and easy, took only a minute. I also like that your TV doesn’t have to be LG to use it, which makes it more flexible. Overall, great audio and definitely worth it for the upgrade.

I found this great little powerful soundbar system in the store. I have a fairly smaller living room so I don’t need much in the way of volume but rather quality. For a very reasonable price this system delivers the sound quality I want with more than enough power! I enjoy the surround sound this system delivers. I like the wireless aspect. Please note the two rear speakers have to be wired to each other so this is not 100% wireless (notwithstanding the power cords that are required). I also like being able to use the app to control all of the settings from volume, base, treble and mid speaker bar. The only thing I’d point out about the app is that you have to turn on your blue tooth to connect to it from your phone. I am using the optical cord to connect to my smart tv, so if I’m playing a show casted from my phone, if I turn on the app, I have to made the BT connection which automatically turns off the sound. I figured out that you have to go to the app setting and change it from blue tooth to the optical connection. Once you do that the sound will reconnect. I haven’t figured a way to keep the setting to optical yet, but now that I know, I have to just make that tiny adjustment any time I want to adjust the sound settings (one star down on this issue for ease of use). I absolutely love the setting that allows the system to automatically turn off or on by virtue of turning the tv off or on. I no longer have to turn my sound system on or off. I also love all of the different sound settings, from theater mode to standard and so many others. Highly recommend this system for the value and performance!

[Employee of bestbuy] its easy to setup and configure, turning the volume up and down is a bit annoying. i got this for my dad and he's colorblind so he couldn't really tell without listening for the difference. the side speakers don't do too much work which is not preferable, huge upgrade over tv speakers though.

The Good: Overall sound quality is good especially with the sale price of $200 Ease of setup. The Not so good: Making sound adjustments to Treble, Bass, Subwoofer is ridiculously obnoxious. Our Vizio with a basic LCD screen on the remote makes adjustments a breeze. The LCD's in Blue, red and white on the soundbar itself are a vastly inferior way of gauging the end result setting. Having to listen for the audio to determine which setting is being offered to adjust is just stupid. The sound quality of this which typically sells @ $300 is inferior to our Vizion Soundbar, although the Vizio does sell for $50 to $100 more. If you like tweaking your sound system, this is NOT the soundbar for you. If you just want something with FAR better sound that what you flat panel TV can produce then you may find this soundbar just fine. So whether or not I recommend this product depends on what the buyer is looking for and whether or not it is on sale at the time.

My previous home theatre took a crap. Luckily I did have the extended Geek Squad warranty. I was able to use store credit on the same day. I had read good reviews about this LG 5.1 home theatre in a box (S60TR) on Best Buy's website/app. I did purchase this as an open box listed in excellent condition. The only issue was it was missing the remote. Best Buy did add an RCA from the floor to this open box. I actually spoke to the tech that inspected this system. As I was curious if I could add the Geek Squad extended warranty. The answer is Yes. The powered rear speakers come alive. The front channel you can clearly hear the distinct channels from left to right. I did download the LG app for my Android phone. This opened more listening type choices such as cinema, extra bass. The app is very easy to navigate. I've had this product for over a month and no issues. Great purchase for an open box.
