Was Decent for me for 1 week
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this TV at $399. Picture quality was pretty decent although I had to go into the settings and turn of LG's motion assist option because it caused ghosting when watching things on Netflix. That also caused problems with my PS4 output so I had to continuously use the TV's game mode. 8 days in however, the tv's display suddenly went out and all that came from it was sound. Thankfully I was still within the given 15 day return period. I'd recommend this tv but would give the warning that it very well may give you the same problem that it gave me. This is the second LG that i've had issues with, my other being one that's LED's went out after 2 years of very casual use.

So Far so Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV is well worth the price. Went back and forth between LG and a Hisense. Both had similar features but long term reviews of LG helped. Only issue is trying to figure out how to plug in all my devices to it.

A Great Flat Screen TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my fifth flat screen TV and the best, by far. The picture and sound are great. In my opinion, there is no need for a sound bar or external speakers. The volume is crisp, loud enough, and there is no distortion. The TV is easy to set up. The cost was just $400 on sale and worth every penny.

Good 4k tv for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and to use. Settings are easy to understand. Online apps are basic like YouTube, netflix and Amazon Prime. Has HDRpro on the tv and in picture settings. Online says no hdr but it has it.

Second LG that went out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV because of the sale price because my other 50" LG I bought last year went out. First it started flickering at the bottom of the screen and then a week later the whole picture went black. I took it in and it was the back light which cost more than the tv new to fix. Now I've only had this 50" LG for less than a week and the same thing just happened. On top of that 2 other reviews on here had the same thing happen to them just after the 1-year warranty ended. I just took it back and bought a Samsung 50". I will never buy another LG TV and I used to like them a lot but can't afford to keep replacing them every year or so. Hopefully my Samsung will last at least 5-6 years.

Died after two months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this unit two months ago. I loved the price and features. Easy set up. Last night during a hockey game, the screen went dead. I powered it off then back on and the only thing that came on the screen was "LG Life's Good." An hour on the phone with LG support. Repair order made and scheduled. Disappointed in this unit for only having minimal use and already an issue.
