Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this at a BF price without even looking at the demo model but little did I know it was it was a decision I was going to regret later . This TV was going to replace my existing Sceptre 32 inch 720p set and was expecting to be amazed considering the big jump in terms of quality. On the contrary , I was disappointed with how dim the panel is and how 'awkward' the saturation and color levels are. Comparing side by side, the Sceptre TV blows this one out of the water when it comes to color balance, saturation and brightness levels. Even after fiddling with the picture settings I could not get the picture at the same level as my old TV. I placed the two TVs side by side for a comparison (see attachment) and the good old $100 TV wins hands down (the phone does correct the colors to a certain extent, looks much worse in person) Extremely disappointed with this purchase , something I never thought was possible with LG. This is going to get returned and will look at Sony or Samsung next.
