Wifi problem

It was great for most of the 5 years but now it's having a problem with wifi. It will not read wifi signals. Saw online other people have this problem saying wifi is off with no option to turn on.

Milky picture when viewing from an angle
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV has a great picture if you are looking straight on, BUT if you view from the slightest angle the picture is washed out. I did not have this problem with previous Plasma or LCD TVs. This makes it compromised for use in a living room. I may return it unless there is a fix for this problem.

Wifi stopped working
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV on black Friday. I was excited to get it home and working. I was pretty impressed! Then you realize the remote isn't super responsive, and then it stopped connecting to my LG sound bar (that was hard wired) and the cherry on the Sunday was when it stopped connecting to the wifi. I exclusively use hulu and netflix. I have been unable to use the TV most of the week, and everyday I try to get it to connect, but it doesn't work. I thought it was my wifi but all other TV and devices are working just fine. Very upset the quality since I was persuaded to buy a "good" brand. I reached out to LG customer service but just wasted my time waiting on the phone for 40 minutes and chose to hang up. I will be returning it today.

Nice picture

Poor Picture Quality

Once you move 20 degrees out of the center range, the screen is dull and fogged. On the plus side, the in-built apps are great and easy to use. I returned it back to Best Buy. It was my third LG TV purchase in the last 1 1/2 years - the other two (different older model) are perfectly fine. This model compromises on picture quality in order to keep the price low. Disappointing purchase.

Won't stay connected to Wi-Fi
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have had it for 2 days worked fine the first day now every time I shut off the TV and turn it back on we have to reconnect to the Wi-Fi which is very irritating and time consuming now today it will not connect to Wi-Fi at all although all my other devices connected to our Wi-Fi just fine for some reason it will not connect so I know it's not the internet connection it's the TV itself ....going to be returning probably tomorrow I don't have time to call and have people fix something that should have been address before they started selling the product also very disappointed it seems like this is a common issue with this TV considering I've already seen how many review saying it will not stay connected to Wi-Fi maybe this is something LG needs to address if they want to keep their customers when we return this I will not be buying another LG TV!

Dead on Arrival
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this television (LG 50" UK6090PUA) on sale hoping to finally upgrade to 4K. Upon removing it from the box and plugging it in, I got only a black screen. Shortly after I was greeted by the menu voice commands instructing me on which direction I was pressing the Up and Down Arrows. My TV would output the audio of the voice menu, but only display a Black Screen slightly illuminated by the back light. I tried pushing the Home and Settings buttons, but nothing came of it. I immediately returned it back to Best Buy. Fortunately, Best Buy gave me a full refund. They were also puzzled by the problem. After doing some research, it turns out that LG has a problem with Fried Motherboards, faulty capacitors, and so on. I guess I will have to wait until later to upgrade to 4K.

HDMI 1 broken

I use my HDMI 1 on video game mode and for some reason it not getting a signal again. The first one, both HDMI 1 and 2 stop working. very sad for LG because I was convince by an LG best buy rep to buy this tv because it was better then samsung... Jesus man, I should have got the samsung 50' tv instead of this one on black friday 2018! : ( Please don't ask me to go to your facebook because I don't use facebook.

TV broke after 1 day

I brought this TV home, and wall mounted it. TV worked for approximately (1) day. The following day, the TV would turn on, but only displayed black screen. I called LG customer service, and after trouble shooting with them. I was told the TV has a fried motherboard. DO NOT BUY THIS TV. Also, the return department at Best Buy was not helpful at all. I attempted to purchase a replacement samsung TV. I was told that Best Buy did not have that particular model, and was offered another TV for a higher price. After some research I found the TV I was looking for, and purchase it. And yes, Best Buy did have that model that I was looking for, just not at that particular store. The store I visited just wanted to sell me “what they had” so that particular store would get the credit for the sale. Thanks for waiting my time

HDMI 1 isnt working

I tried using the HDMI 1 port but it won't access any channels. When I tried the HDMI 2 port it wouldnt do it either but the TV acknowledged that something was plugged into it. It didnt do that with the HDMI 1 port.

Terrible decision.

I asked if I was getting a good deal and they responded by taking me to look at this LG tv. It was the same price as the Roku tv I was looking at so I figured I would give it a shot since the associate said it was a better deal. I thought they meant better quality. I was very wrong. This tv works great as a screen but it is in no way a smart tv. It constantly forgets the WiFi network that it has been connected to many times. All in all it is just a big hassle to keep typing in the password when I thought I was buying a better tv. I know the Roku tv's work great. I will not recommend or purchase another LG tv.

The second of three LG televisions that wound up a

The picture quality is mediocre for a 4K television and the wifi card is a crap shoot even wired its poor. I am in the process of restoring this television to initial settings yet again which is sad as this first one as mentioned didn't necessarily crap out, it just became outmoded.
