This particular unit with brightness adjusted so faces and chins were not black and featureless came that way. Once the brightness allowed us to see people's faces on (i.e.,Blue Bloods) most pictures looked whitewashed over the colors. We returned it for a Samsung which had 4.7 stars out of 5. This LG was not listed higher on Consumer Reports list; the Samsung is higher so we shall see how the Samsung does. We have had no issues like this with our three Vizios we have had. No idea why this LG was tough. We have an LG frig and assumed it was going to be great.. No so..

4K television for less demanding audiences

Its HDR does not behave effectively, leaving much to be desired in black and white colors, being white not so white. However, its price can attract a certain less demanding public.

Doesn't do what I was told

This TV is not compatible with Google, only with Alexis. Big let down

We returned it for another one which did work but if you have it in a fairy large room the picture is not very good at all unless you are straight in front of it. We did not return yet but still considering it.

It may be a little more TV than what I need but it will provide for future growth.
