Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The foot of the stand snapped off and the TV went over a sound bar and crashed to the floor. We photographed the broken stand foot and noticed the other one was broken and ready to snap also. We called LG and were given area dealers who evaluate why this happened. Both places that were to verify our loss and damage used the exact excuse - our cat knocked it off. We don’t own a cat and no one was in the room when it occurred. We just heard the crash. This TV was several years old and that was not that long ago. This was definitely a design flaw. The stand legs too heavy to carry the weight of the TV. We have noticed this foot design is still being used for even larger than 50 “ TV’s .

Great OS, Bad Picture.
