Now it loses sound during viewing and you have to turn the TV off and back on to recapture sound. It also completely turns off while viewing on its own and needs powered back on. I expect it will totally crash before long. I do not recommend purchasing this product. I will probably not purchase another LG product.

Thus, I had to downsize to this model’s 43” tv and return this 50” smart tv. So my 43” LG smart tv works great work that old tv stand. I like the display in menu selection of apps like Netflix, Slingtv, and prime video!

I was renovating in the room it would reside, so I did not install and start using the tv until about 4 months after purchase. So, I do not understand why this gave out so soon. To read another buyer/ reviewer had the same issue when we purchased around the same time and stopped working at the same time, is not coincidental. This must be a bad batch. Prior to this, it worked fine. You do need to sit in front of the tv for the best picture. Sitting on the side of it, the picture is not as crisp. I was on the fence about buying another LG, but definitely will not after this failure.

One minute it was totally fine then the picture went out but there was still sound. I unplugged it for 30 seconds and nothing then 1 minute and nothing then 5 minutes still nothing and now there's no picture or sound. I switched the HDMI to a different port and nothing. I thought LG was a decent brand but this tv has proven me wrong. It's been very well maintained and there's been no accidents, it just quit working for no reason whatsoever. It worked really well up until now so I'm extremely disappointed and I'll be out $350.
