After much research I went with this one and I’m very happy with my choice. Name brand, picture quality is fantastic, just as advertised. The smart TVs features work excellently too! Would 100% recommend this TV for anyone else looking to purchase a 50 inch smart TV in the ~$300 range.

My brother was left ok’ing around for a new TV as well I told him right away about my LG & sure enough we got one right away. Like me he’s quite satisfy with his purchase. You won’t regret choosing this Television I would give it more stars if possible, absolutely love it!

I’d buy it again

It’s taken a little getting used to having so many content options on the TV and attached to the TV with an Apple TV. The picture is super sharp, to the point that even movies look as if they are live. My wife says it takes a little getting used to, but with Netflix only a button away, I think she’ll acclimate.

Great picture, lackluster sound

The picture quality is great for the price and has pretty good dynamic range. The UI gets a bit laggy at some points but isn’t a deal breaker. My biggest complaint is the sound quality. It is very muffled and sometimes hard to hear conversations when there is music playing behind voices. I would definitely recommend investing in some kind of sound system.
