good deal for a smart TV

It has needed connections for family with kids (DVD player, cable box, Game console and VCR for old tapes). All HDMI connections work fine except Composite video (Red/White/Yellow) when connected to a VCR. IT will play but picture will go dark after 10, 15 minutes while audio still playing. On line chatted with tech support 2 times and was told some devices/TV do not recognize Composite inputs. Advised to turn off TV and turn it on again for pictures to come back. It did exactly like that. it is annoying but not worth to return or exchange ( recommended by tech support)
