Let me start with, I do like the TV picture. I purchased the LG 50 inch back in November. I what I don't like about the TV - I don't like WEBOS ( doesn't support enough apps) but what I really don't care for is when I turn on my TV the HDMI ports don' t always come on and it doesn't connect to my wireless network. It sometimes takes turning it on and off a couple of times for it to connect. Next time I will stick with Best Buys house brand.

Had a Samsung that gave me nothing but trouble with the picture which was great when it worked. I wasn’t as impressed with the picture on this tv but I’m getting used to it.

No detailed instructions. Not using as a Smart TV. Very frustrating hooking up with cable box. Didn’t learn of in home free assessment on set up until we returned a cord the sales person recommended.

The picture quality is not very good. I also had a lot of trouble logging into Prime and Netflix. I finally gave up and bought a firestick, so now I can see all the channels I pay for.

We returned the LG 50" TV to the store in Muskegon, MI as we could not get the color to our liking. Seems as if when we changed channels, we had to go back into the settings and adjust the color to that channel. Also, as we viewed the picture from different points in the room, the color would change. Could be we just got a bad unit as we have a LG that we purchased 12+ years ago.
Replaced the LG with a Samsung

We had trouble setting up this tv. The picture was too large for the cable input. We could not use the remote to adjust it. Also pop-up kept reappearing for HDMI 1. When swithched to HDMI 1, a pop-up for HDMI2 kept appearing. Third problem was that none of the codes for LG tvs would work on Spectrum remote.

I know this isn't an expensive TV-nor am I a film aficionado!
However-I just want to watch Basketball-and for this the picture is disappointing(substitute profanity)! I have spent hours adjusting the controls and still the players are not clear and always have a fuzzy area around them! Could be the cable company but this seems like a simple thing-don't a lot of people watch sports on TV?

This is my 2nd LG 4K TV. I bought my 1st 65" LG TV two years ago. I was very happy with the LG product. So, I brought this 50" LG TV, to replace my bedroom TV, without seeing it first. I was expecting this newer model should perform at least equal if not better than the older model.
My first disappointment was the thickness of this UN70 model. The thickness of my old 65" LG 4K TV was about 1" thick. The thickness of this newer smaller screen LG is 3.4". It is as thick as my 15" years old Samsung TV which I tried to replace. I went back double check the specification. It was my bad. The BestBuy spec clearly said this boat anchor is 3.4" thick.
My 2nd disappointment is the picture quality. Again, I am used to my old 65" LG 4K TV. I expect the newer model should perform at least as good as my older LG TV. I spent over an hour to adjust the picture quality. I tried every one of the preset picture. None of them is better than the standard. i.e., without picture enhancement. There is a level of grey on every preset picture. No matter what I try, I can't get rid of it.
The new WebOS on this TV has twice as many more choices of the streaming services. Somehow, my preferred choice Youtube no longer appear in the bottom selection list.

Keeps getting disconnected from WiFi. T.V remote will not work without t.v being unplugged first horrible experience. This purchased was a waste of money. Please save your money and time AVOID this product nothing but problems. I tried to reach out to LG and they stated they can not help with a product I purchased from Best Buy.
