Got this item at Thanksgiving's black Friday sale at a very low price. The screen is large and the image is clear at 1080P.

So far, the television has worked GREAT. The colors are sharp and crisp. I have it in my family room and everyone loves it.

Picture quality is good if it's a HD channel. If not the picture is poor and grainy looking. Thought LG was considered a really good tv, but I was not that impressed. Thought about returning it, but only paid $500.00 on black friday 2013. They said it would have been $1000.00 (not sure). I know I would have returned it for sure for that much, not worth it.

It needs more input capability. Only 2 HDMI. Almost everything runs on HDMI nowadays. But it's nice.

Got this on a Black Friday sale for $499. Great picture quality and overall a bargain for a 55" TV.

I'm not sure about the Sound as the TV is hooked up to surround sound. But, the pic is sharp combined with a great price.

You get what you pay for. Bought it because it was $500. Can't beat that with a screen size that big. Picture is nice. Sound, not so much. The worst part of this TV is that it doesn't have an audio output. In order to connect to surround sound, you'll have to use the optical output plug. So if you have old technology stuff, you'll have to upgrade it so it can be compatible. The other thing is it only has 2 hdmi inputs. Pretty much you can only hook your cable and something else at a time. In my case, I have cable, video games, blu ray player and a laptop I hook up. It's a pain in the you know what to try and move the tv when I wanna connect something. My advice is pay a little extra to get all the features and inputs. Everything is going wireless anyhow so it's better to upgrade a little at a time rather than having to replace everything all at once. If you just want a tv to watch shows on then this is the perfect tv for you. Cause that's pretty much all you can use it for.

Really good, however missing some audio out ports and the built in speakers could be a lot better.

For that Price, you could not do wrong, everything works, great clear Picture, overall wonderful !

Excellent picture but sound is only ok I recommend a sound bar. But it is a great TV for the money

The picture and size made it a great deal for the price. Only real complaint is that I thought the USB media dock would let me watch movies from an external hard drive but it only shows photos or plays music. Not real sure why. If you're not planning to use that feature then it's a great TV. Ended up using it in the bedroom instead of the living room.

Overall a great TV for the price! I have always owned LG tv's have not had an issue with one yet!

Great size for a large family room. Great basic features, easy to use for everyone in the family.

My family and I are thoroughly enjoying this television. The quality of the picture and sound exceeds our expectations.

If it isn't a neccessity for you to have a SmartTV, then this is the way to go. Got mine on Black Friday. Great Deal.
