The picture on the TV is amazing. It is very easy to work with and navigate. The smart menu is very easy to use. the only downfall to the TV (albeit minor) is that when you are watching Netflix or other movie things (not cable TV) the sound seems to be a bit quiet but a sound bar should fix that no problem.

I purchased this tv to replace my 42" Samsung plasma 720p. I am definitely pleased with the picture and performance. It is a step up for sure, and the wi-fi internet streaming works great. As with most slim tv;s the sound isn't that great, but a good sound bar system takes care of that.

Love, love, love! Great deal for a a great product. This tv has great sound, picture, and features! But, it's menu isn't as user friendly as I'd like. Outside of that, it rocks!

Great TV for the price, the smartTV OS is a little lagging, but I already use Roku/Amazon Fire TV so it didn't matter to me. Picture/sound is great.

This TV is a great purchase and works as expected. This only issues we have found is the satlite voice is off but we believe this is because we are using a LG sound bar.

Excellent picture quality on this flat screen tv. I purchased this item as an Xmas gift for my parents and they love it.

I have always been a loyal Samsung TV person. After one of my TV's stopped working (after 7 years) I had to get a new one. Looking around the store I see this LG. Looks good on the shelf, good reviews, good price. I thought, "lets give LG a try and see what happens". BIG MISTAKE. Had this TV and on the second day the HDMI 2 input starts failing. The screen would flicker on and off. I tested it by plugging the same cable into another input and it worked. After putting it back into the HDMI 2 slot it failed again. I got online and did some research and saw that others had experienced this same problem. Never again will I own an LG product. Pieces of junk. I returned the TV to the store and paid more for a Samsung but at least I know it will work properly. The only bright spot was the staff at my local Best Buy store was great and very helpful.

I bought this TV on 3/6/15 and originally wasnt happy with the picture. This is an "edge lit" TV which means the black levels are not good at all. Dark scenes just blend together. So I went and bought another TV and moved this to the other bedroom. Turn it on....big crack in the screen. I contact customer support and my "1yr parts and service" does not cover the panel. Seriously!!!! I was directed to a local repair shop, where I was told this is common and its not worth the cost of repair. Horrible picture and even worse service. Save yourself the trouble and buy a Sony or a Samsung. Never again.

This TV may have been used 3 times a week and now needs repair. It's had a very intermittent issue all along. The screen would go black and maintain audio every once in a while and I'd turn the system off and restart it and it would be fine. Then it started doing that every half hr one night and quickly progressed to only a screen flash when turned on. Obviously now it needs repair. This should not happen to a 2 year old tv.

i've bought LG 50LF6100 6 month ago, A day,i turn power on and i/ve seen vetical line on screen, i call LG company..they said:"manyfacture NOT guaranty for it, they said i need replace screen." i think..PROCDUCT OF LG COMPANY NOT REALLY GOOD, LAST LONG JUST 6 MONTHS. I'VE STRONG RECOMMENT PEOPLE DON'T WAST MONEY ON THIS.

My sound on the tv whether its hooked up to a sound bar or not is awful...They sound goes way up then way down all on its own....The people sound like they have rocks in their mouth

Screens go black soon after out of warranty. LG aware of problem but refuses to do anything about it.
