Our family has enjoyed this television. A bit complicated however when trying to set up. The kids have enjoyed it! A step up from what we previously had. Not very happy though with the clarity of the picture. All the non HD channels are a bit blurry, not clear. Very disappointed in that. I expected more from an LG brand. But what do you expect, from the low price.

Isn't a full smart tv. For the money we thought it was. You can't search or add popular apps.

It was easy to set up and begin watching TV. The sound it's a little in the low side ..

I bought this TV at the same time I bought a Sony TV. Picture quality was not as good, and streaming for apple devices worked flawlessly with Sony, but did not work at all with the LG.

The colors are a bit dull on my opinion. And the tv does not get very loud

I don"t normally write reviews, but this tv did not have many reviews to go off of. When you go to bb all you can really do is look at the tvs on display. Some look better than others, but you can't really test drive it like you would with a car. You do your research but don't really know how it will perform till you set it up at home. I figured i would give my input for those that are on the fence about buying this LG tv. I bought this TV on 5/2. Set up was straight forward. High Definition picture is awesome. The colors are crisp, clear and vibrant. Gaming is awesome. Sound was surprisingly good. I love the fact that i was able to mirror my android phone to this tv for pictures, video or web content. Tv comes with youtube, netflix, hulu, vudu etc preinstalled. About five days later when i powered on the tv it quickly turned off on its own. It did that a few times and then would power on and stay on just fine. The same thing happened a couple more times and i was within the 15 day return window so i decided to return it. I exchanged it for a 55" vizio at the same price. I went with the vizio because it had tons of good reviews online. Took the vizio home and un boxed it and set it up. Sad to say that the picture and sound quality does not compare to the LG. I boxed the vizio back up and returned it for another LG. So far the LG is working good. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that the first LG i bought was a defective unit. If anything i may purchase the bb extended warranty for peace of mind. If i could change anything with this tv, it would be at add more HDMI inputs. Other than that its a nice tv at a good price. I will keep you posted if anything changes.

TV would not stay on after only two weeks. Best Buy said it was not their problem and I needed to call the manufacturer. LG "fixed" it after two service calls. Expected more from Best Buy and feel we were sold a defective product

Bad picture to go along with terrible sound. STAY AWAY!

We bought this tv , because we use the webbrowser all the time, after searching for it ,we saw reviews from after our purchasedate, we called LG and they confirmed, there is no webbrowser on it. It s a smart LIGHt they said.

Entire HDMI port fell into tv the first time we plugged a cable into it. Best Buy will not exchange or replace.

It's an okay tv but for a smart tv it sucks....can't get my phone to control the tv and there's no web on the tv

This tv is a steal for the 500 I paid! I'm a ltech person , and for the price this tv is awesome. The only negative is it has two hdmi inputs ,but this is a holiday model and they had to cut the cost somewhere . You can buy a hdmi switch with 4 outputs for a 100or less so not really a big deal when you are getting a 55inch name brand tv for 500 for the price I give this a 10/10 if you are looking for a good budget tv with good picture and smart tv . Not top of the line for sure but not 1-3k either
