I've had this TV for a few years now and I am pleased bought it on clearance for a great price the picture is good and the sound is great. The only downside is that it only has two HDMI inputs which to me is just enough

This TV is exactly what I was expecting. it has a great picture for 1080p with excellent contrast. the smart features are simple to use, fast and responsive.

I wanted a smart tv and this one was on sale at the time. I bought and I love it. I paired it with a sound bar and it makes me and the family feel like we are at the movies. The remote is smaller than I am use to but I am adjusting. It doesn't have all the numbers like a larger remote but we are good with it. If you have small children like I do....keep the remote in a place they can't reach.

comparing to the Samsung j6200 model which has a cheaper VA panel this LG that uses a higher end IPS panel is a better quality picture for less money. Also the smart features with the webos platform runs fast and easy

My experience so far is that the TV turns off unexpected. Just purchased a few days ago. Fortunately you have a 15 day window to exchange or return, so they are going to swap out this TV for another and hopefully We will have better luck. Other than that, I really like the picture and features it has to offer.

I picked this LG up for $500 a few months ago and I've been very happy with it. I bought an Insignia first and the picture just wasn't what I expected so I switched to the LG and it's perfect. I don't use any of the apps, but my sister has the same TV and is happy with all of them (although there is no HBO GO app). I was very surprised by how good the sound is, I generally have it at 20/100 and it's loud enough. So far I've used HDMI, optical audio, and component inputs for sound and am happy with them. Yes is only has 2 HDMI ports which is annoying, but you'll find that it's 2 or 3 on most TV's now so I'm not taking points off for that. The picture quality is wonderful, I just use the auto setting for everything, but there are a lot of other options as well. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

after breaking my old plasma 50" during a move i needed a new one. after searching online and weighing all the different options for the price i landed on this LG 55". For $400 you cannot beat the price per inch of screen you get. after now about 2 weeks of use i am completely satisfied overall. The picture quality is very good in my opinion, although i am used to watching an older 1080p plasma. The sound is superb for ground facing small speakers. the display itself is very thin and has about a .5" of frame around the screen itself. Only downside for me is only 2 HDMI inputs are on the TV. In my opinion this does and does not make sense. it does for the reason of i am planning on getting a sounds bar to help fill the room so i really only need one HDMI. For people not wanting external sound this can get annoying if you have 3 different HDMI's to plug in. Overall i am extremely satisfied with the purchase and the TV especially for the price it is at now you can't beat it.

This television is well worth the money. Best price we could find for this size. Great picture and quality. Easy to use Internet and special features.

TV looks great no its not 4k but for the size and price you cant beat it.

This TV is very light and luminous. That's the first thing I thought when I set it up and turned it on. My wife said the same. This is my first Smart TV and it was so easy to use and get used to. I love that the remote control automatically works for everything, save the cable box. We're glad for the purchase especially for the price.

This was a great value purchase, 55" for less than $500 out the door is tough to beat. The picture quality has been good; my only complaint is that some of the HDMI ports are covered up by my TV mount. I guess the ports could have been placed in better spots (on the side of the TV) to prevent that.

We got this tv on May 14, setup was very easy, picture quality was good. I agree with other reviews about needing more HDMI inputs, this one only has 2 and it replaced a tv that had 3. We had the same problem as several other people with the tv turning itself off after 20 seconds after only having it for 12 days! Since in the return window at Best Buy we returned it and traded for Samsung. Our former television lasted 17 years! We loved the LG but were afraid to try another one since reviews were not promising.

I love my new tv. Nice upgrade from my old 42inch. My old tv looks like its for a small child now. My only problem is with the smart feature, it has a lag. A few other smart tv's I've used had the same lag but nothing major. If it came to it I'd buy it again.

This TV was a very good choice for us. It was easy to set up, not too heavy, and the picture is crystal clear. Good value for the price! This is the second LG HDTV that we have purchased in the last couple of weeks. We couldn't be happier with them!

Our tv broke unexpectedly and we wanted to get one and of course had to get a big one! For the price of this tv the quality is AMAZING you can't beat it!

Needed a large screen TV to replace an old 47" LCD TV (about 10 years old). Found Best Buy had this LG TV (55" LED) for $499 ... decided to go for it. Was amazed at how good the picture an sound quality is, LG makes a good TV.

The television had a beautiful picture on it when we first bought it. Now every time it is turned on it has a very small picture in the left upper corner. You have to play with the settings every time you turn it on. I'm not the only one with this problem I read on Google when my wife looked for a solution. This model only has one MIDI input too. Not good if you have UVerse and DVD player both. I'm returning this television after church tomorrow.

After looking for 55inch tvs some were a little pricey. I found this LG for under $500 was what I was looking for. Picture , sound, Quality so far are super good. !!!!

I got the 55'. Thought it was going to be too big for my living room but it was a great size for my small apartment. Definetley would recommend it
